Wow… ce restaurant de smoothmeat est vraiment spécial, il fait partie du centre-ville depuis des décennies pour servir des générations en génération diffamée.
Ne vous fiez pas à ma tête de Terminator T1000, je ne me restaure pas qu'avec de l'huile… MDR.

Omgoodness the food is so delicious & our server Vince was one of the best waiters we ever had!!! We were here visiting from nova scotia & this did not disappoint! Definitely will be back!

Had an absolutely wonderful dining experience here! The atmosphere was warm & welcoming from the moment we walked in. Our server was attentive & knowledgeable about the menu, offering great recommendations. The food was exceptional - fresh ingredients, perfectly seasoned, & beautifully presented. Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor. The portions were generous & well worth the price. The restaurant was clean & well-maintained, & despite being busy, we didn't feel rushed. The dessert was the perfect ending to our meal. We'll definitely be returning soon & would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great meal & excellent service. Five stars!
I accidentally got on the train going the wrong direction tonight.
Ended up at Reuben's instead.
Ordered the smoked meat, medium fat.
Upgraded the fries to poutine & added smoked meat on top.
Pickles on the side.
The meat was warm, smoky, & generous without falling apart.
The gravy soaked into the fries just enough.
The pickle wasn't a side dish, it was the reset button.
What impressed me most was the service.
No interruptions. No forced check-ins.
Napkins appeared exactly when needed.
It felt less like dinner & more like a small, well-timed gift from the city.
10/10 would happily get on the wrong train again.

Fantastic service & always great quality meat! Can't complain when you receive a Rueben Sandwich piled high with delicious cured meat! What really stands out is the very friendly service & customer care that you receive throughout.
Excellent Experience, suprising that it took me this long to try this well established fine steakhouse, this is from about 2 weeks ago, highly recommend!!!!! :)
J'ai poursuivi ma quête du meilleur smoked meat à Montréal. Je vais malheureusement devoir faire des comparaisons avec ce que je connais déjà.
Le prix est assez élevé pour le produit. Cela dit, je comprends tout à fait l'aspect d'être situé en plein centre-ville. J'ai aimé que l'assiette soit servie avec les accompagnements; pour 29 $, c'est une énorme portion qui m'a bien rassasié.
J'ai moins aimé la salade de chou, qui est davantage vinaigrée que crémeuse, même chose pour le cornichon. Maintenant, si je compare avec d'autres endroits, la prise en main du sandwich était moins agréable. C'était le genre de bouchée qui se défait facilement, ce qui affectait aussi l'uniformité & la proportion des bouchées, qui variaient selon l'endroit du sandwich.
Mes commentaires peuvent sembler durs, mais ils reflètent simplement mes goûts personnels. Je crois aussi avoir un parti pris pour Schwartz. Cela dit, ça n'enlève rien à Reuben's, qui mérite tout de même une excellente note.
A lovely place for a delicious & relaxing meal. friendly & welcoming atmosphere with exceptional service. The cheesecake! Oh you must try one of the cheesecakes!
