I was in town from the U.S. for a hockey game. There was no way I was leaving Montreal without a smoked meat sandwich. After walking around Mont Royal for a few hours & making my way back to Centre-Ville I made my way to Reuben's based on recommendations on the Internet. My experience was truly exceptional - the food, the service, the chats with the staff - everything was just perfect. I ordered the Charlie, which was plenty of food for me.
I will absolutely be back next time I'm in town. Thank you for the hospitality!

Our first experience at Reuben's , we had the famous Smoked meat sandwich, it was delicious, the restaurant had a great vibe & our waitress Viviane was exceptional.
I loved the smoked meat! We asked for a one-pound smoked meat sandwich ('the original'); my suggestion is to ask for the mixed meats, half lean/ half fat. We also had the Turkey sandwich which surprised me as well with a spectacular flavour. All this beside a Pinot Grigio wine...ufff I'll be back!
The Best of Smoke Meat places of all time. Have been enjoying it each & every time I come back to Montreal for the last 50 years from out West. Great job Rueben's…..🙂
Reuben's Deli & Steakhouse is a great spot if you're craving a classic deli experience. The sandwiches are huge & packed with flavor, the smoked meat is tender & delicious, & the portions are very generous.
The fries are also really good, & everything feels fresh & satisfying. The atmosphere has that traditional deli vibe, casual & lively.
Definitely worth a visit if you're hungry & want something hearty & authentic!
we came at 2:30 for easter lunch, & our server Vivian was absolutely amazing. she was so patient & kind. I would definitely come back, hoping to be seated in her section!
Well we came back to Rueben's & lo & behold orly was our waiter… first thing he said was I remember you two… had a good laugh service was incredible food was banging. Favorite place to eat in Montreal
A group of us had the pleasure of dining at this establishment today. There was 6 of us. Steven, our server was absolutely impeccable. The food was absolutely amazing. Definitely recommend this place if you are ever in montreal.

I've tried a lot of restaurants, but Reuben's Deli & Steakhouse is honestly on another level. The quality here is consistently outstanding, everything tastes incredibly fresh, & you can tell they don't cut corners.
What I love most is that it never disappoints. Every visit feels just as good as the first one, which is rare. I always tell myself I'll try something new, but the dishes I've already had are so good that I keep going back to them, which is kind of ironic, because I'm sure the rest of the menu is just as amazing.
If you're looking for a place where you can count on great food every single time, this is it.
