I loved the celery stew, but to be honest the crispy rice was just too oily I had to remove the top. Also I thought the beef portion was a bit small.

While I gave this place a 5 star review, I still wanted to share a few more thoughts. Overall, the quality of the food was very good for the price. We went as a group & ordered tahchin, baghali polo with lamb shank, karafs stew, & zeytoon parvarde.

I really loved the chicken tahchin. It came with a small bowl of chicken broth that you could pour over the rice, which made it even more flavorful. The chicken was well seasoned & tasted great. The presentation was also beautiful, topped with fried almonds & barberries.

The lamb shank was well seasoned too, but the taste was just average in my opinion. I have had better elsewhere. The karafs stew was well cooked & nicely thick & settled, but it had a seasoning, maybe a hint of cinnamon, that I did not enjoy as much. That is just my personal preference though.

The ash e dough was delicious & tasted exactly how it should. Unfortunately, the zeytoon parvarde was not my favorite as it had a slightly bitter taste.

I'm new to Iranian food, & I don't know what we ate( except for fasanjoon), but everything was delicious! We tried lamb shank with rice & green beans & it was also amazing ! In the fast food insfested downtown area, this place give me hope that good affordable food is still possible🙏

We ordered Barg kebab & Zeitoon parvarde.Barg kebab meat was NOT tender & Zeitoon parvarde was sweet & a bit bitter.I don't recommend it. Price was normal . 2x Barg kebab with rice+1x zetoon parvarde +2drinks =75$ .You can have better quality persian food with this price in Montreal !

Excellent food! The kebab was delicious & the Iranian rice was perfectly cooked with great quality. They were busy, so the service was a bit slower, but overall a great experience.

I visited this restaurant about two weeks ago for take-out. The girl at the front told me it would take 10 minutes… it ended up taking 40 minutes while I just sat there waiting at 11pm. I decided to give it another chance a few nights ago with my family. Although the food itself is good, the service is very slow & not professional.

When we arrived, the server greeted us coldly. While taking our order; even though we clearly ordered kebab & khoresh for each person, he kept asking'with rice?' … like of course. It took about 20 minutes just for him to bring a piece of bread to start, another 20 minutes for a simple soup, & then finally the food. The restaurant wasn't even full, so it's not like there were too many orders.

The kebab arrived cold, but fine, whatever. What really bothered us is that the server never came to check on us a single time, not to ask if everything was okay, not to refill our water, nothing. We even had to chase him down to get the bill. After paying (& tipping!), he didn't even say thank you or goodbye. Just took the money & walked away.

Service gets a 0 from me. Food is okay, but expect to wait a long time.

Amazing food, especially the Tahdig! The quality of the rice was excellent. The Koofteh & Akbar Joojeh are must-try.

I had the lamb shank & rice. Lamb was cooked really nice, very tender. I used the sauce on my rice & it added a lot of flavor. Staff is very friendly & they walked me through the options when I told them it was my first time having persian food. They have a very nice black tea as well.
