Tonight I ordered from this restaurant & honestly it was one of the best Persian food experiences I've had in Montreal. The food was high quality, fresh, & the portions were very good. Everything arrived perfectly hot & fresh 😍

We had a really great experience at Shamdooni! The food & atmosphere were amazing, & our server Nikafarid was incredibly kind, patient, & helpful throughout the whole time. She made us feel very welcome & took great care of us. Definitely recommend this place & we'll be coming back!

In this restaurant, what surprised me the most was that the chelo kebab was served with tomato paste. I really wish they had mentioned this when taking the order, because I don't think anyone expects or is used to eating chelo kebab with tomato paste. However, the staff member who took the order was very polite & had a good attitude.
We came from Toronto for the Montreal GP & after extremely long day we wanted a good restaurant, Shamdooni was the first one to appear in the search results with a great reviews & they did not disappoint. Everything was extremely good. Thank you so much for the delicious food & great service.
It was our first time visiting this restaurant, & we had a great experience. The food quality was excellent, & the taste reminded me of my grandmother's cooking & my childhood.😍❤?
We tried the tahdig, Akbar Joojeh, & koobideh, & everything was amazing. The customer service was also excellent.
The restaurant's atmosphere could be a little more beautiful & inviting, but overall, we really enjoyed our experience. We will definitely come back.

I have been ordering Persian food from this restaurant for quite a while now, but I finally decided to visit them in person to try their food.
Shamdooni Restaurant is a good place to hang out & eat Persian food if you miss it. The portions of food are appropriate, & they have freshly baked bread that reminds you of Iran.

They brought hot, fresh Iranian bread & mast-o-musir as a welcome dish, which was awesome. We tried ash reshteh, dolmeh, & kuku sabzi - all of them were delicious, just as we expected. The main dish, koobideh, was good, but the kalam polo was a bit too greasy. Overall, everything was perfect, & if I come back to Montreal, I would definitely love to try it again.
Quality is good, & price/portion ratio is totally reasonable if not low.
I like what they have done to decorate the place, although there are room for improvement & they're doing so as they go on.
I liked the service that was provided by Shahin. He was working alone in the salon & helping out in the kitchen & yet managed to take care of all the customers with care & attention.
Overalls we would definitely be back to try their other dishes.
We went to this restaurant for breakfast - the service was really good & quick. Really kind & nice staff. Kale pache was tasty & well cooked but Halim was average. Quiet & cozy environment
Super adresse iranienne à Montréal!! Cuisine riche en saveurs, très parfumée & pleine de finesse. Excellentes options végétariennes, avec des plats bien équilibrés, un riz parfaitement maîtrisé & des accompagnements savoureux. Accueil chaleureux & ambiance simple, authentique & conviviale. Une très belle découverte pour découvrir la cuisine iranienne. J'y retournerai sans hésiter!!
Super flavorful iranian food! Been wanting to try iranian food for a while in montreal, & it did not miss. Enjoyed it so much. The meat was so delicate & the rice was just a fusion of taste.
