One of the best restaurants I've ever been to! The food is always amazing, the staff is incredibly professional & welcoming, & the quality is consistently on point. ❤?

Whenever I'm craving delicious, authentic homemade-style food, Shamdooni is my go-to. I can walk in with my eyes closed knowing I'm going to leave happy & satisfied every single time.

The food at Shamdooni is excellent. Everything is really tasty & has that authentic, home-cooked Persian feel, which is what I love most about this place.

My only criticism is the preparation & wait times. Almost every time I order, the food takes longer than expected, & it sometimes gives the impression that they may be understaffed. On one occasion, my order was even cancelled after I had already been waiting for over an hour.

That said, the food is genuinely good enough that I keep coming back. 😄 I just hope they can improve the preparation times & overall service, because with food this good, it would make the experience even better.

The rice was very greasy & sticky, & the koobideh had too much seasoning, which took away from the authentic kebab flavor. Overall, I didn't enjoy the taste & was disappointed with the meal.

We tried the Baghali Polo with lamb shank, Ghormeh Sabzi, Gheymeh, & Joojeh Kebab, & every single dish was absolutely delicious! The food tasted just like a homemade meal cooked by our moms, full of authentic flavor & love.
We were also served warm, freshly baked bread & delicious seasoned yogurt, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. The hospitality was wonderful, & everything felt so welcoming.

Hard to find good Persian kebab in Montreal, but this place is by far the best restaurant I've found for authentic Persian food.

The kebabs are incredibly flavorful, perfectly cooked, & taste just like what you'd expect from a great restaurant back home. Every dish is prepared with care & attention to detail.

A special shoutout to Mohsen, the owner. You can genuinely see his passion for cooking & hospitality in everything he does. He's one of those people who truly loves what he does, & it shows in both the food & the atmosphere.

Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic Persian cuisine in Montreal.

Tonight I ordered from this restaurant & honestly it was one of the best Persian food experiences I've had in Montreal. The food was high quality, fresh, & the portions were very good. Everything arrived perfectly hot & fresh 😍
