Le restaurant Portogallo, anciennement connu sous le nom de "Portugalia" a officiellement re-ouvert ses portes ! Sous une nouvelle direction, nous sommes ravis de ramener le poulet Portugais authentique grillé au charbon de bois qui approvisionne Montréal depuis plus de 30 ans!

My god was this restaurant a real treat .. heard about it & decided to give it a try, now I'm hooked.. definitely going back in the very near future.. chicken & ribs were out of this world & my son said that the Tony supremo sandwich was the best he ever had ..
I went to Portugalia for the first time & I had the Tony Supremo sandwich. This sandwich is top-notch, hands down the best sandwich I've ever had. The bread is so soft & fresh, the chicken is perfectly marinated & melts in your mouth. The staff is so friendly too. They make you feel like family. I am definitely going back.

This is called Portugalia Poutine Supremo. I asked them to make it especially for me. Instead of fries I asked for portugués roast ball potatoes, curds, sauce, grilled chicken & piri piri sauce supremo!! Excellent!!
I love this Portuguese restaurant that specializes in chicken. Great tasting chicken, fresh, well prepared & their'Supremo'
spicy sauce that comes with it, is delicious! Wonderful staff, great service & fast. I always take a whole chicken & ask for'spicy' chicken to go. Just the best! I Highly recommend.

A fun fact about Montreal, the George-Étienne Cartier Monument is seen as a welcoming beacon to Mount Royal, but if you follow La Renommée's gaze forward she looks longingly toward Grillade Portugalia. This is a nod to their delicious sandwiches, particularly the Tony Supremo.
Forget the rest... This is easily the best Portuguese chicken in town. The Tony Supremo sandwich is straight elite. Great value & the owner is just a beauty with great hospitality skills.
Quick service, friendly workers, mind blowing chicken. These guys have got it down to a science. Get the Tony Supremo it's everything you want in a sandwich. The spiced fries are also great!
I was so hungry I forgot to take a picture of our meal. We ordered Tony Supremo, Montreal Steak & Half chicken with fries & salad.
Everything we ate was not only delicious & flavourful, but portion was HUGE! It's super rare to find places that sells quality meals but doesn't lack in quantity. This place is an absolute gem!
Currently they have limited seats, but I think they are in the process of setting up dine in tables.
Such a fantastic corner shop that makes the neighborhood feel more human & alive! We had the Tony Supremo made by Tony himself. One sandwich is good enough for two to share. People at the other table outside gave us their extra insanely tasty fries. Tony also gave us spicy mayo & water bottles on the house. Would definitely come back!
This place is fantastic. The chicken is so flavourful & authentic. They have the best sandwiches, I had the Tony Supremo & I was blown away. I even ordered 2 of them. I was served by Tony (one of the owners) & I have to say he's a fantastic person who makes you feel right at home. Highly recommend!
