Stopped by Grillade Portugalia's booth at the Portugal Festival this weekend & it ended up being one of the highlights of the event. Even with the long lines, the staff kept things moving & were friendly throughout.
Their charcoal-grilled Portuguese chicken is clearly the bestseller for a reason - juicy, perfectly seasoned, & full of smoky flavor. The fries were crispy, & the piri-piri sauce added just the right amount of heat. We also couldn't leave without grabbing a pastel de nata, which was the perfect sweet finish.
The booth had a great atmosphere & represented Portuguese cuisine really well. If the food at the festival is any indication of what they serve at the restaurant, I'll definitely be visiting again.
The best Portuguese grilled chicken in town! I am always amazed by the tasty food here.
Really excellent Portuguese chicken place, awesome Tony Supremo sandwich. Fun tiny dinning area.
I tried the Tony Supremo combo, & it was a satisfying meal. The grilled chicken inside the sandwich was flavorful, the fries were nicely seasoned, & the Sumol was the perfect pairing. The restaurant also has a modern interior with both regular seating & a bar area.
Great food! Best Portuguese grilled chicken in Montreal! & yes I have tried them all, maybe a tie with Janos !
It was good, although the sides had nothing special. Their version uses a dry spices mix, instead of the spicy orange sauce that is more common. I definitely prefer the orange sauce, but to each their own, it was good anyways! The pastel de nata had a good center, not too sweet, but the layered dough was nit crispy at all, almost wet... So not so great!
