Mostly nice. Great service 🫶.
Many dishes were very good, pork belly & fish main were outstanding. A few disappointments; the duck croquettes didn't do much for me, the macreuse's sauce was way too sweet & the whole dish didn't shine.
The ceiling is quite low & the restaurant felt very noisy; I didn't notice much to try to soften this. I felt the decor was a bit bland too.

Follows mostly a small sharing plate format but with more Asian inspiration than most other restaurants of the genre. Some dishes are pure genius: the lacquered striped bass with eggplant & poblano, the pork belly, the burrata with pesto & tomato. & it's saying something, but their bread pudding with their homemade bread & warm salted caramel sauce was maybe the best bread-based caramel dessert in the entire history of the sticky toffee pudding, pouding chomeur repertoire anywhere. One quibble: we ordered their house bread with our meal so as to be able to mop up all the delicious sauces, but for $6 we got three tiny pieces that were more air bubble than crumb. Disappointing that they didn't throw in an extra slice to compensate.
Didn't try the mains.
Wine list is inspired, original & very reasonable. Lovely decor & highly attentive service.

Nous étions excités de découvrir ce restaurant relativement nouveau.

Côté cuisine, plusieurs plats se sont démarqués: le pork belly & le boeuf étaient particulièrement réussis, tout comme les asperges & la tomate burrata. Les linguine aux noisettes méritent également une mention. Les cocktails étaient délicieux.

Un léger bémol: nous étions six à table & partagions tous les plats. Quelques indications sur les quantités à prévoir par personne auraient été appréciées. Résultat, nous avons quitté le restaurant avec l'impression de ne pas avoir assez mangé.
Les délais entre les plats étaient aussi assez longs, alors que la salle était loin d'être pleine & l'offre de vins au verre est plutôt limitée.

Les desserts étaient corrects, sans plus. Comme on nous avait venté les mérites du chef pâtissier, nos attentes étaient élevées.

Au final, compte tenu des prix & de la concurrence particulièrement forte sur la scène gastronomique montréalaise, nous espérions une expérience un peu plus aboutie pour cette première visite.
