Mostly nice. Great service 🫶.
Many dishes were very good, pork belly & fish main were outstanding. A few disappointments; the duck croquettes didn't do much for me, the macreuse's sauce was way too sweet & the whole dish didn't shine.
The ceiling is quite low & the restaurant felt very noisy; I didn't notice much to try to soften this. I felt the decor was a bit bland too.
Ambience sympa....
On y retourne bientôt :-)
It's been a really long time since I had such a great restaurant experience in Montreal. From the attentive service, the exquisite, fresh terroir food to even the bathroom soap, we were taken care off without over baring. Thank you for making my birthday magical!
Ps try their cocktails, bread, yuzu tuna & macreuse de boeuf. Oh & also the oyster with the ginger mignonette!
Amazing service & food. It was the perfect date night & the price is very reasonable. Good wine options as well & each plate is so well presented but also delicious! We will definitely be back !
Quel excellent restaurant !
Follows mostly a small sharing plate format but with more Asian inspiration than most other restaurants of the genre. Some dishes are pure genius: the lacquered striped bass with eggplant & poblano, the pork belly, the burrata with pesto & tomato. & it's saying something, but their bread pudding with their homemade bread & warm salted caramel sauce was maybe the best bread-based caramel dessert in the entire history of the sticky toffee pudding, pouding chomeur repertoire anywhere. One quibble: we ordered their house bread with our meal so as to be able to mop up all the delicious sauces, but for $6 we got three tiny pieces that were more air bubble than crumb. Disappointing that they didn't throw in an extra slice to compensate.
Didn't try the mains.
Wine list is inspired, original & very reasonable. Lovely decor & highly attentive service.
