Afficher toutthai(84) dishes(58) wine(48) curry(41) pork(39) recommend(33) flavour(32) salad(27) rice(26) dessert(25) spicy(25) salty(24)Excellent creative Thai inspired (but not purely Thai) food. One of the best bang for the buck in a tasting menu in Montreal ($70 pp). Great, original wine list. Highly recommended. Many tastes you have not tasted before unless you are a seasoned world traveler. You will love it. Atmosphere is more'cool' than upscale, & the service is excellent. Highly recommended, can't wait to go back.
Great service, & above average food. The pork belly was a little salty but the rice & cabbage offset it. However the rice does get dry & hard very quick.
The dumplings were amazing & is a must order. Of course the Thai tiramisu is also worthy of a try.
One the best restaurants & hospitality experiences I've had this decade.
Did the chef's tasting menu. Utterly stunning meal, from pacing to techs to total satisfaction. Having lived in Hang Dong, CM, this grabbed the soul with gusto.
BIG shoutout to the homie Frank for the care & curation of our experience from start to finish, sparing no time or energy tending to our every remark & question. You're a gem, guy.
Standouts: Everything
But particularly: Fermented Pork Belly, Oxtail Curry, & Thai Tea Tiramisu.
Say no more, worst Thai food in Montreal & super overpriced. Oriental exotic fantasy for people who have never been to Thailand.
Food did not live up to the hype. Everything was overly salty I couldn't taste the Thai flavours from all the salt they added.
Patio server also did everything but serve us. Not once did she check on us the whole time we were there & made us feel basically invisible.
Really unfortunate because I've always had such a great experience at Pumpui Restaurant (same establishment).
Absolutely superb Thai restaurant, excellent food & friendly staff. The shaved mint choc ice is a must!
Great food & drinks, probably best if you can tolerate spicy foods & peanuts - as with most Thai places!
Incredible Thai street food style restaurant in Montreal. Came here on the recommendation of a friend - it's a bit out of the way if you are staying in old town or downtown - but easy to get to with the metro & worth the journey.
Had a variety of dishes - Laab Ped (duck ) was a surprising favorite. Amazing natural wine list with a great by the glass selection.
Ambiance is a bit hectic but fun - definitely a bit of a hidden gem for a tourist but highly recommended!
Food was actually just terrible. Not Thai cuisine at all, not one Thai server/chef in sight, so I guess we should've left. The dishes marked spicy weren't even remotely spicy, so that should tell you enough.
Each dish is upwards of 30-40$, server expected us (2 people) to order up to 5 dishes.
Extremely small portions, for example the duck salad (see picture), they give you tiny pieces of ground duck & then just leafage. On top of that, it wasn't even good, unless you enjoy chewing on unseasoned herb & leaves. You will leave there hungry & disappointed & feeling scammed.
Leaving this review so the people who actually want Thai food avoid this place.
