The food at Panacée is exquisite & inspired, loved being at the chef's counter & see them at work & the atmosphere is very cozy. We loved the thoughtful choices & the wines that were great with our dishes.
Everything was good with that little'je ne sais quoi' & I ordered the daily offering the wine pairing option. Mostly all local wines. Good table wear, glass an cutlery, but the napkins should be white. Service attentive & prompt. Interesting the whole brigade was female. Good for you. All the food was great but the pork was chuwy. My majeur issue was the toilet seat. NOT made for a man. To reach the top seat you need a half a finger to reach it. Maybe install urinals. They had the Montréal Canadians playing in those restroom & would of preferred to stay there for the rest of the meal, but who does that? went back to my seat & had the dessert paid & left. I would go again is I did -not had to be so limited in the chose of food à la carte, I would take 1/2 a star for that but well done.
My friend has been raving about this restaurant since the first time he went. At one point, he was going two times a week because he loved it so much (& wanted to support a brand new local business). Let's say my expectations were through the roof!
Well, they deserve all the compliments. They transport you on a journey of carefully selected local produce, prepared with the greatest care. I hate beetroot, & their beets dish was one of my favourite. They are that good.
Every member of the team was exceptionally kind, fun to talk with, & knew everything about the dish & its wine pairing. Special shout out to Fanny, who made us feel very welcome & took great care of us.
I will certainly go back next time I am in Montreal!

Had come here a couple months back, was recommended to me by a friend to try out their tasting menu. Did the wine pairing which was excellent, however, the food was a bit lacklustre. Very high price point, nothing was standing out to me, service was ok, nothing was really explained so the food journey wasn't immersive. The dessert was probably the best part of the meal.
We came on december 20th, Food was amazing! Especially the beef & the scallop !! The olive oil gelato & the pear meringue dessert were also sooo good.
The service was great, she presented the food very well & there was a good atmosphere. Definitely recommend the 5 course with wine pairing !!
We celebrated our anniversary at Panacée last night. WOW! We loved the warm, comfortable inviting decor & vibe. The staff are so welcoming, attentive & knowledgeable. The food. Oh my God, the food! Every dish we had was so beautifully presented, delicate, & beyond delicious. This chef marries ingredients & flavors in a unique way that takes them to the next level. They have a great, well curated wine list. The pricing was very reasonable for the quality & quantity served. This restaurant is a gem.
Such a talented chef! Hers is a thoughtful menu that delighted the eyes as much as the taste buds. Exemplary, warm service. Interesting wine list. We sat at the bar to fully appreciate the culinary theatre. Fantastic price point. Home run.
Wow! The chef Catherine Couvet Desrosiers & her team have created an unforgettable experience. The ambiance was subdued & refined, yet casually elevated. We, a party of 2, dejected the( course meal with wine pairings. Every single course exceeded expectations , simply delicious, & served with explanations of each item. The staff were friendly yet professional. They made us feel like they were glad we were there. The next time I'm in Montreal, I WILL return. Thank you, Panacée!!
