The place is a bit small but very good for a quick lunch. One of the best Korean restaurants I've gone too. Also, they have their grocery store right beside as well!
Simple place, but the food is very good. & the prices are reasonable.
Fast & friendly service. The chef recommendations are phenomenal. It's not spicy enough but maybe because I'm just too crazy. It would be good to have the option to make things extra spicy. The "small" tangsuyuk was actually a normal size. I'm not too a big fan of the toebokki, it wasn't spicy & flavourful enough, just lacking that midnight snack super spicy omf. Overall, it was a great experience. Will be coming back to try the other items on the menu. The kids absolutely loved the jajamyeum. Really remind me of the takeouts in Seoul with the yellow radish & it's very generous with pork too! Yummmm!! Come try this place but don't come cuz I want to keep it not too crowded. This place is filled with Koreans so you know you're at the right place.
This Korean eatery offers a delightful blend of simplicity, affordability, & friendly service. It is focused on providing a convenient & swift dining experience rather than an elaborate fine dining atmosphere. proximity to a Korean grocery store enriches the cultural ambiance. While the Bulgogi didn't quite meet my expectations, the overall dining experience still comfortably earns four stars.
Very friendly staff & great food. Service was fast. Almost too fast but we also came when it was pretty quiet. We had teokbokki, black bean noodles & stir fried beef intestine. The teokbokki was pure fire so fair warning to those expecting a more sweet & spicy style & the cheese did nothing to temper the heat.
absolutely lovely place. spacious warm relaxed servers. we got ddokbokki & soondubu & a japchae. along with the refillable appetizers there were abundent leftovers. it was light, refreshing, & not full of salt. they were closing at 10 but did not rush us in any way. would definetely return when missing good Korean food. excited to try out the more adventurous dishes next time like goat stew & maybe sausage.
I must have had an off day because I didn't love what I got (soft tofu stew, house special combo). The fried stuff seems like the thing to get. Super friendly & fast service
Legitimately the best korean food in town currently in terms of taste & value - & trust me I've had a lot of korean in Montreal. Highly recommend.
Very authentic delicious place definitely will come again! great taste good price.
One of the most authentic Korean restaurant in Montreal with great prices & service.
Beef intestines very chewy. Noodles is ok for 10.99 not very big size
My favorite neighborhood restaurant. Service is always fantastic & the food is absolutely delicious. The japchae is to die for!
Great service ! It was my first time eating there & my waiter was super helpful in helping choose a meal . Super tasty & at a great price .
Great authentic Korean food, great value for money! Had tteokochi, naejangtang (intestine soup, rly hard to find elsewhere in mtl) & kimchi stew, all really good.
The kimchi stew is decently sour, my wife likes sour soups like tom yum etc & she loved it.
Also seems they renovated & feels more resto vibes now. friendly staff!
