Pretty good korean restaurants. Menu has options that are pretty typical from a korean restaurants, rice dishes, soups, noodles. They are very generous with their side dishes. Highly recommend. Price seems to have increase a bit after their reopening however. Sadly not the most affordable korean restraurant that I've tried

Overall very good restaurant, good service & good food. The one thing that icks me is that I ordered cold noodles with broth but there was really minimal amount of broth so we asked for extra & I said I was willing to pay for it, but they said it was not an option to have extra broth, so we believe they used packaged cold noodle & broth & not homemade.

Mukja is the best Korean restaurant I tried in Montreal. We ordered Mool naengmyun with cold broth, Dolsot Bibimbap with beef, & Dakgangjung. They all taste so good. In addition, the portion of each was really big! The young service lady was really nice & helpful. I asked her where to buy the naengmyun noodles & she told me to get it in the Korean supermarket across the street. The restaurant is clean & quiet. I'll definitely dine there again.

We've been craving for korean food & looking for an authentic one. Feel like this place made really great korean food. First thing first, the best fried chicken that i've tried in this city (so far) i mean the sauce tastes flavorful. We ordered tteok-bokki woth cheeses.. amazing. The texture is so great..soft & chewy, eating with the sauce.. yummm The cold noodles is really refreshing..the wheat noodles is so chewy. Good price. Parking available on the side if the street Will definitely come back to try more.

Update 14-Sep-2024 Everything was delicious as per usual. We tried different dishes this time which were the kkanpoongi (sweet & sour fried chicken) & the jaenbang naengmyeon (cold noodle with wasabi-based sauce). The kkanpoongi was so tasty, crispy & the chicken was juicy! The cold noodle dish was so refreshing & I liked the wasabi sauce. It was big enough to feed at minimum 2 people. Will be coming back & ordering these two dishes along with the tangsuyuk & hot stone bibimbap. _____ Update 06-Jul-2024: Service was amazing! Our waiter was so kind & food came out quick. Size large tangsuyuk is HUGE! Bibim naengmyun, tangsuyuk & dolsot bibimbap were my faves. ------- Found this resto through TikTok & saw that they had just recently renovated from more of a counter spot to a dine in resto. The food was sooooo delicious. We got the special of the week which included a jajangmyeon & tangsuyuk for 19.99!!!! Definitely a bang for your buck. We also ordered the webfoot octopus which was perfectly balanced & not too spicy. Everything tasted amazing, the portions were generous & the value for the food here is unmatched. Will definitely be back!!

I think I have a new favourite restaurant. This place was so good. Service was quick, the person who took our order was so nice, the food came super fast, & it all tasted super fresh & delicious. I also really appreciate that they leave a whole jug of water on the table for you. Their prices might be unbeatable for Korean food in Montreal, especially considering the large portion sizes. We didn't expect to get banchan included with the meal at these prices but we were pleasantly surprised. The soju (flavoured soju too!) is also cheaper than other places I've seen, keep in mind though that you can't get it to go. We kept our orders pretty basic due to not having the biggest appetites at the time, but all of what we got was delicious. I'm especially looking forward to coming here in the winter for some of their soups. The tonkatsu was crispy & juicy, the rice was perfect, & all the sauces were great. I appreciate that it wasn't super heavy on the sauce (there are two layers of pork in the photo, so it's an appropriate amount of sauce). The jjajangmyeon was "very delicious, the noodles were so good" according to my partner. He thought the sauce was a thinner than what would be expected for this dish but that's more a comment, not a complaint by any means. Overall I highly recommend this place.

Came here last night on a whim & came out mostly satisfied. We ordered the jjajamien, jjampong & pajeon. The jjajamien was one of the best I've ever had, second only to Bok. Flavors were rich & there was a generous amount of toppings in the noodles. The jjampong was good, but not as flavorful as some other ones available around Montreal. The noodles in both these dishes were great, but the portions were maybe just a little bit too small. The pajeon, on the other hand, was completely the opposite. It was enormous but did not taste good I'm my opinion. I no think they put grated yam in there so it tasted slimy to me a bit. I think it's ok to put a little, but this had way too much. I didn't like it. Service was good & friendly, we were in & out in about 40 minutes so great for casual dining. Parking was easy to find.

Updated: I have to say that I preferred when they were a counter service. The prices are still reasonable, but portions have shrunk considerably. The ingredients in the bibimbap was disappointing. I have yet to try their tripe & seafood dishes. Unpretentious & stellar Korean street food: Kogos, fried battered chicken & tofu in sweet spicy sauce, battered vegetables, stews & noodles. Prices are below market rate (the container of freshly fried tofu was $4.99). I'll definitely be back soon to try their spicy fish dishes.

Very friendly staff & great food. Service was fast. Almost too fast but we also came when it was pretty quiet. We had teokbokki, black bean noodles & stir fried beef intestine. The teokbokki was pure fire so fair warning to those expecting a more sweet & spicy style & the cheese did nothing to temper the heat.
