Service impeccable de Andy, Amélie la sommelière extraordinaire & la sympathique Line au bar. La nourriture était délicieuse aussi. Le magret de canard était le highlight de ma soirée.
h3 is a newer restaurant with few reviews. We were delighted with the whole experience. Service was attentive without being overbearing. Our food was beautifully presented, interesting & most of all delicious. The room is pleasant & has a wonderful street scape view of the square outside for its second floor vantage point. If I were to offer a criticism I would suggest the very extensive wine list could be edited down from its imposing 29(?) pages. That said I was impressed by the interesting wines offered. Not the usual restaurant sort of stuff.
Il manque un ingrédient dans mon assiettes. Quand je leur ai dit le service wow ils ont remplacé mon assiette se sont excusé à répétions & mon offert mon repas. Ça c'est du service ! J'ai été impressionné de leur réaction automatique. La nourriture est délicieuse. Les ingrédients de qualité. On a adoré. On va revenir.

Suite à mon expérience gustative au sein de votre établissement, je me permet de vous émettre ce cours feedback:
Plat n°1: Il y avais trop de coquilles d'huîtres pour que je puisse appraisier ma dégustation.
Plat n°2: Cette assiette ma rapeller les saveurs que l'on retrouve dans un brandade de morue, & je les trouvée intéressante.
Plat °3: J'ai trouvé la sauce qui accompagné le raviolis beaucoup trop salé; aussi je me demande ce que d'avantage de fraîcheur, tel que du fromage frais ou une brunoise de pickels pourrait apportez à ce plat.
Plat n°4: La moutarde de Dijon était trop présente & m'a empêché de profiter des saveurs du plat.
Plat n°5: (il y a eu une erreur dans le service, & nous avons reçu le caviar en n°5) Très bon, le meilleur plat de la soirée.
Plat n°6: Je m'interroge quand aux proposition de sucre dans cette composition.
Plat n°7: Une très belle assiette avec une jolie composition qui m'a fait penser au classic de la crèpe Suzette, aussi je me questionne sur ce qu'une dorure au beurre des crêpes aurait put apportez au plat.
What an awesome introduction & welcome to Montreal!!
Alec, the bartender was amazing. He was knowledgeable, engaging, super friendly, attentive & just an all around great guy. We had three plates, the burger, the house frittes & hamachi. Everything was great, the burger especially. The hamachi was on the small side, (we were fairly warned) but still extremely tasty. On a busy Saturday night, Alec created a fantastic atmosphere in the bar & had everyone talking with each other having a great time. It was a great experience we will always remember, our first night in Montreal.
We had booked a dinner elsewhere for a retirement party & it was cancelled short notice. H3 was able to accommodate a group of 16 at the last minute & gave us an experience that far surpassed expectations. The food was exceptional & the service staff attentive not intrusive so the group could visit/talk. The ambiance was really nice & everyone said this was the best meal they've had out in awhile. That says alot as it is Montreal! Duck magret & the cod dish were favourites as well as the tasting menu. Well priced.

Cette fois ci pour un anniversaire , merci au personnel qui on pris le temps de nous permettre de profiter du cellier exclusif du H3 .

This review is only for the bar on the second floor & not the adjoining restaurant.
There was a private event for about 40 on Monday Oct 4 so the main area was noisy & the service slow. The music is very loud too. Hard to hold a regular conversation.
Ordered the hamachi & it was not appetizing to look at nor to eat. Also ordered the fried prawn & they were overdone. That’s $40 total.
The waiters were pleasant & did their best. However I do not recommend at all. If you are wondering why the pictures are so in “infrared” well that’s the overall lighting in the lounge.

Expérience exceptionnelle ! Je recommande grandement le menu dégustation avec l’accord de vin. Nous avons terminé cette belle soirée avec le service du dessert dans le cellier vraiment unique. Andy nous a offert un service impeccable. Amélie, la sommelière, nous a conseillé les choix de vin à merveille.
