Très bon restaurant, mais qui manque un peu d'originalité. Je tiens à mentionner qu'il est bon pour partager. Puisque le menu change selon les saisons, mon avis pourrais être biaisé.
Nous avons laissé le serveur choisir le menu pour nous. Nous étions trois.

Le crudo de Loup de mer était excellent. Un bon plat pour ouvrir l'appétit & parfait pour l'été. 4/5

Le plat de radicchio était médiocre. J'ai l'impression que trop de restaurants à Montréal produisent des plats similaires. Je m'attendais à un truc plus funky. 2/5

Le plat feta fait maison & pita était suculent. C'est une assiette très onctueuse & bonne pour une transition vers les plats plus lourds & chaud . 5/5

Les cavatellis avaient une bonne texture & les King Eryngii sont un bon choix de champignons pour ce type de plat. Mis à part cela je trouve qu'il manquait un quelque chose dans les pâtes pour marquer un peu plus les esprits. 3/5

Le boeuf angus nourri à l'herbe était E X C E L L E N T. Le boeuf fondait dans la bouche. La petite sauce sur le dessus était de même à la hauteur des attentes. 5/5

Finalement, le service était bien malgré le fait qu'on a senti une certaine pression de la part du serveur de devoir prendre des desserts. Serait-ce car la facture n'était pas assez haute?Voir plus

We were disappointed with our visit to Foxy. We found the dishes to be quite expensive considering the quality & complexity of what was served. The total bill came to nearly $200 for two people, & we didn't even order any drinks. On top of that, we were still hungry when we left. In our opinion, the price was not justified. We do not recommend this restaurant.Voir plus

I feel this place is overrated. Menu is hard to understand, we had to look up most of the items online & asked the server several questions. Anyway, had the chips & dip only because I just wanted a drink after dinner. These are veggie chips, very thin.. & taste like leaves. I didn't enjoy them at all. My friend had the carpaccio & said it was good. I've been here before & struggled with the menu then too.. If you really want to try this place, I suggest you research the menu before coming & see pictures. I think it's one of those restaurants that people will either really like, or dislike.Voir plus

Our dinner turned out to be the best meal we had during our most recent visits to Montreal, even outshining our experience at Joe Beef.

The only hiccup was that we reserved for the'chef's counter' section, but when we arrived, we were encouraged to pick another section of the restaurant as the seats were literally right across from the oven, giving you an instant sweat!

The dishes were all well executed. Our favorites were the crudo, mushrooms, & asparagus.Voir plus

I've been to Foxy three times. The first two times were really good. The food was impressive, flavourful, & nicely presented. I remember sharing a platter with different meats & potatoes. It had a kind of tapas or shared starter feel to it & it worked really well.

On my second visit, I had the same platter & again the experience was solid. But by the third time, the menu had changed. I ordered the burrata & a few other small plates. This time the execution just wasn't there. The dishes felt a bit flat & underwhelming compared to my earlier visits.

The terrace is definitely the best part of the space. It's quiet, has a great ambiance, & feels much more relaxed. I like the drapes & the layout, it gives it a really nice atmosphere. Inside is a different story. It tends to get loud & there's unfortunately a bit of a lingering smell that makes it less pleasant.

Would I recommend it? It really depends. If the terrace is open, it can be a lovely place to eat. But the menu isn't as strong as it used to be & the experience depends a lot on timing & season. Based on my last visit, I'd give it a three out of five.Voir plus

We had a great dinner! Love the wood fire smoke. Not smoky or hot in the restaurant, which I was worried about.

The food was extremely good & the service was excellent. The chefs were dedicated & took great care in the work. Beautiful food.

The pita & feta was fantastic & worth the price.

The halibut was perfectly cooked & fresh as heck.

The cavatelli mushroom pasta was phenomenal. They really built up the mushroom flavor through stock & such.

The half lobster with red pepper was very good, but was served a bit cold.

The cocktails & dessert were good, but not on the same level as the food.Voir plus

Lede to this review: our waiter was dreadful.
He abandoned us for half an hour at a time. He spent 5 full minutes consulting with a couple 3 tables down over their wine selection. The table to our left spent 35 awaiting their check after requesting it.
All told it was 30 minutes from being seated until our drinks arrived.
After that we were treated to additional attention from the hostess who was able to fill in gaps for her flailing colleague.
Service aside. The food was delicious!
We enjoyed an appetizer of the oysters, followed by the'radicchio' (a lovely salad complemented with purple & golden beets), the cavatappi (fantastic mushroomy, cheesy goodness), cauliflower (a bit austere, wouldn't order again), & the halibut (pictured; featuring a delectable dashi buttermilk sauce).Voir plus

Très belle table entre Griffintown & la Petite-Bourgogne, il faut absolument gouter les cocktails maisons qui sont tous excellents ! When the waiter is coming every two minutes, it's tough to relax. Also 265$ for (1) 17 oz steak (splitted between 3 persons), 2 beers & 2 glass of wine & an 5 inches small pizza appetizer. Might be exagerated! Also we been told the steak was 18 oz & the waiter didn't even know if it was 16 ou 17 or 18. At 120$ + tax for a steak, you should know right away. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed by Veronica & her incredible staff. The service was impeccable-attentive, friendly, & truly made us feel at home. As for the food? Absolutely outstanding. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared, bursting with flavor, & beautifully presented.

It's rare to find a restaurant that delivers on all fronts, but this place truly does. If you're looking for an amazing dining experience with top-notch service & exceptional cuisine, this is the spot. Can't wait to come back!Voir plus
