It's no wonder they have been recognized by Michelin. From the moment we walk in, we can feel the good vibe in this place. We had the best seat in the house, sitting in front of the two talented, hard-working & funny chefs. Every dish was delicious! The Mackerel, the beef tongue, the pasta with duck ragu, tuna belly & of course the rabbit! Our service was prompt, careful & warm. This place is awesome!
Sat at the bar & got the full experience. The staff were incredibly friendly & helpful. & the food was delicious.
The raddichio salad was an understated hero in my meal as it refreshingly cuts thru the fatty bone marrow & buttery rabbit dish. Everything was so good.
Honestly, this was one of the most disappointing dining experiences my wife & I have ever had. We had high expectations - we had to reserve in advance & the restaurant was highly rated.
From the moment we walked in, things went downhill. The waitress seated us in a corner where we couldn't sit face-to-face. We ended up side-by-side, forced to watch other people eat.
There was NO AC in the entire restaurant. On a summer evening it was extremely hot. They eventually opened the garage-style window, but it made almost no difference.
The waitress was rude & seemed offended that we didn't order drinks. She never came back to refill our water & only appeared when delivering our dishes. The slow service honestly made us feel like she was trying to pressure us into ordering alcohol.
Worst of all, our corner was infested with FLIES. They were everywhere. We spent more time swatting them away than actually eating.
The food was hit-or-miss & significantly overpriced - the kind of meal that leaves you still hungry afterward.
I wouldn't come back anytime soon.
This place has been on our list for a while, so we were really happy to finally make it to Beba. The restaurant is cozy & intimate, with a warm, welcoming vibe. We loved the open kitchen setup, & the staff were all incredibly friendly & welcoming from start to finish.
We went with the à la carte menu & ordered a little bit of everything. All three amuse-bouches were excellent, especially the knish with caviar, so good! The dates with foie gras were delicious, as was the mackerel appetizer.
For the table, we also had the duck ragu tagliatelle, bone marrow, & beef tongue with eggplant. We finished with the flan, which was a great way to end the meal.
Overall, a really lovely experience with excellent food, a great atmosphere, & wonderful service. We'll definitely be back.
What an absolute gem of a restaurant. We sat at the bar & had a great view of all the action (cocktails & food). Loved the food. Best flan I ever had in my life!
