Where to start. Beautiful restaurant, located near atwater market & downtown.

The food menu is well rounded with Japanese, Vietnamese, Canadian roots i would say.

The cocktails are really great as well.

They have a great selection of aged fish sashimi, which might sound weird at first but upon trying… wow

Takoyaki, crudos, the black cod dish.. i am definitely coming back to try the rest of the menu!

Edit!

2 years later, i'm back! The menu changed but the food got even better! I love how Thierry & the team keeps improving their dishes, drinks !

Bravo 🙌

I rarely give a bad review, but our dinner last night was really not good. The only things we enjoyed were the marinated eggplant small plate & the tuna. The chashu pork bao tasted like it had gone off (& we like coriander, so it wasn't the sauce), the spare ribs were meh, & the duck was too chewy in the ramen whilst the broth tasted fishy. Unfortunately we will not be going back.

Wonderful restaurant, with authentic Japanese cuisine. The hand made ramens are the best in Montreal. The pork bun is one of the most delicious I have ever eaten. The texture of the bun is soft, the pork is melting in your mouth & the slightly acidic sauce counterbalances perfectly the fat of the pork. The aged fish is always changing but always surprising & delectable. They have an impressive list of sake. The open kitchen makes it very convivial, the service is friendly & professional. It's a true gem!

What a cool experience, food was amazing, dry aged salmon was the bomb. I've never tasted fish so good & prepared in that way before. Tons of passion & creativity from the chef & was a very welcoming warm environment. Would recommend!
