J'y suis allé avec un ami hier soir après une conférence à montréal. J'avais vu que c'était une belle place pour les dumpling.
Quand nous sommes rentrés, l'endroit n'était pas super propre, beaucoup de pack de cannettes trainés par terre, les tables pas super propre mais bon.
Deuxième chose à savoir, ils n'acceptent pas de cartes débit ou crédit. Il faut payer cash & vous avez un distributeur interac bien sur :) dans l'établissement.
Nous nous sommes partagés plusieurs bouchées à la vapeur , crevettes, poulet, boeuf coriandre, etc...
C'était correct mais sans plus. Le monsieur de la place n'explique pas vraiment comment le menu fonctionne, etc...

everytime i hear the word dumpling i think of this place. they're amazing. porc & chinese cabbage is the best, my boyfriend loves the shrimp ones too. they're super juicy & the perfect level of oily (not too much, not too dry!) i can eat a whole container of them & never complain.
cash only & there is an atm. small location but you can order takeout (that's what we do). workers always seem a little disgruntled whenever i come pick up my order, but we all have bad daysView more

Je pense que les avis très positifs datent d'il y a un moment... Le décor est très quelconque, le service plutôt expéditif (&'cash only'... gros point noir !). Sur le moment les plats étaient corrects sans être'wow', mais après le restaurant nos ventres nous ont fait savoir que ce n'était peut-être pas une bonne adresse (nous n'avons rien pris de particulièrement bizarre ou épicé). They only take cash so I usually order on uber/doordash for pick up. Their dumplings are insane, I have a preference for their shrimp dumplings♡ The prices are also really good for what you get. I cant suggest it enough! ^^View more

Great food. But they run a currency exchange scam ("cash only" establishment). Stating that USD cash conversion in the establishment is 1.12 instead of what should be 1.44. Then got the math wrong on his own made up exchange rate & inflated the price further. Is that even legal?View more

The dumplings were decent, but not particularly memorable. Presentation was pretty standard, nothing to write home about, & while the portion size was reasonable , it didn't quite make up for the overall lack of wow factor. If you're craving dumplings, they'll satisfy you, but don't expect anything out of the ordinary. Also, this is a Cash only establishment.View more

I didn't see it written anywhere on the storefront but this is a cash only place. There is an ATM just inside which may be used if necessary. The service was good. The tables are spaced enough to have a fair amount of room & not feel too cramped like some other restaurants in the area. I got the seared chicken & cilantro dumplings at the suggestion of the staff. The dumplings were good but I wish I got the steamed dumplings instead. The seared dumplings had good texture but I had trouble tasting the filling over the flavor from the sear. I'll try this place again for sure.View more

My wife & I enjoyed a nice lunch at Mai Xiang Yuan Dumpling. She ordered the boiled dumplings. I ordered the fried. We both got the wonton soup. The service, atmosphere & food were all great. Only challenge that they are cash only (has an ATM in the entrance). I'd definitely go here again!View more

The first thing I'm told is that it's cash only; then when it's time to pay, the price was higher than what I expected, so I asked for the bill; the guy didn't even printed out the bill. After seeing the bill, he already charged "tips" in the price. Since when tips are automatically added in the invoice? The dumplings looked good but flavorless.View more

Good dumpling restaurant. The place seems to have been renovated. Looks nice & clean. However, it's still CASH only. No cards accepted. I ordered steamed dumplings but the waiter misunderstood. We got fried dumplings instead. Personally, I feel that these fried dumplings are just too fried that you can't really enjoy the taste of the filling. I was disappointed. I also had a wonton soup. It was ok but not great. In the past, I've had steamed dumplings here & they were delicious so I would probably come back.View more

Whenever I come here I'm never left disappointed. The service is great & everyone there is kind. On the other hand the food is delicious! Now when it comes to the food I ordered 3 things: - Pork & Chives Xiao long baos - Pork & Shrimp Xiao long baos - Pan fried pork & chives dumplings The Xiao long baos (soup dumplings) were outstanding! The pork & chives ones have a light flavour & the soup is so flavourful. I wasn't the biggest fan of soup dumplings before this restaurant. I found that the soup was more greasy somehow. The soup is light & the flavour just burst into your mouth. The pork & shrimp soup dumplings were on another level. If you aren't able to eat shrimp I recommend the pork & chives! The pork & shrimp dumplings had so much flavour. The umami taste that leaves you wanting another one. I love how there is so many different types of dumplings on the menu too. The pan fried dumplings are great as well! You can't go wrong with pan fried dumplings. I'm personally a fan of the chicken pan fried dumplings here but I decided to try the pork ones. The pork & chives are heavy but the crispness of the skin goes so well with the filling. There is also lots of seating & its cash only but they have a atm at the front! Nourriture correct, manque d'épice. A notre entré au restaurant, on nous dit une chose CASH ONLY avant meme qu'on s'assoit! Par la suite, quand on paie la facture on inclut le pourboire sans notre consentement, OPC avisé de la situation!

these dumplings are really so tasty!! we had all of ours boiled, we tried beef, pork & lamb, as well as the shrimp dumplings & the siu mai. everything was just so good!! the beef ones especially. the service was fast & the staff was really nice; it is a really good, cozy family-owned dumpling restaurant!! would definitely come back also, i must say, it is cash only!! but they do have an atm at the front of the restaurant.View more

The waiter wasn't calm, always in a rush to get your order, no sign at all for (only at the register) "cash only" The personal soup is a child portion. They always came & asked many times to get the plate we finished eating, even though wasn't people waiting to be served.View more
