Reviews for Ragù Pasta e Vino
We ordered some food for take out on our way home. Food was good, 7 / 10. But the young lady working counter was extremely rude. Food wasn't good enough for that service.
After a show at Place des Arts last night, my husband & I were looking for a place to eat dinner. It was already a bit late (10:30pm) & as we walked by Le Marché we decided to go in. We saw fresh home made pasta in a window display at le Ragù & decided to give it a try.
My husband had the Tagliatelle Carbonara & I had the Gnocchi. IT WAS DIVINE! The Tagliatelle was perfectly cooked, the sauce was heavenly & the presentation was pleasing. It was well paired with a private import red wine they had. The Gnocchi was absolutely amazing with sauce & seasoning I had never tasted before. The chef is Italian & the cuisine is authentic. I am craving that gnocchi already & would highly recommend both dishes we tried. The ambiance is lively & we were well served despite being near restaurant's closing time. You can tell that quality matters to them, as well as customer satisfaction. We will be back. Hats off to the chef & staff!
Ordered & received food in 10 mins. Service was great. Huge food hall with good vibes. Definitely hand made pasta. Personal preference for more sauce but I think it was cooked as they intended it to be.
The food looks good but I didn't get to try it because the service was rude & bad, so I got tired of waiting to order & left.
Edited to add: I'm aware that Le Central is a food court. I live here & I'm not a tourist. Before we sat down, I asked the guy at the cash register-in both English & French-if Ragù could accommodate two people for dinner without a reservation, & also if we could sit at a table instead of at the counter. He said yes. I assumed that meant something, but apparently not, because we were ignored until I ran out of patience & time, & left.
Fantastica esperienza. Cibo ottimo e servizio curato nei minimi dettagli
Un angolo di casa a Montreal.Miglior pasta italiana a montreal, antipasti fantastici e vino ottimo. Consigliato a tutti!
Sophie & Luis were AMAZING. The best service we had in Montreal. We will definitely be back!
Sophie & Luis were absolutely incredible, gave me the best experience I had in all of Montreal. Can't wait to return to Canada for THEM!
Miglior pasta mangiata in Canada!!
Pasta fresca fatta in casa e sughi eccezionali!
I was really looking forward to trying the Tartaglia Bolognese with four meatballs at Ragu, located in the Central food court. After waiting over 40 minutes for my order, I expected something truly impressive-especially at a price of $45. Unfortunately, the dish didn't live up to the wait or the cost.
The pasta itself was okay, & the flavor of the sauce was decent, but it was extremely watery, which took away from the overall experience. For the price & the long wait, it just wasn't worth it. I wanted to give it a fair shot & was hoping for the best, but I won't be returning. The taste was fine, but not at a level that justifies the cost or the delay.
Went there for lunch. They were out of my first choice so I ordered the ravioli. Service was ok but nothing special (guy was sitting on a stool & came to take my order, that's it, no greeting no smile, nothing).
They gave me a buzzer to know when my food would be ready. Wait time was good. The ravioli were ok but nothing special about it especially for the price (28-29$ + tip).
