I went there with a friend to celebrate his new job a Monday morning, the cocktails were amazing but the food was a bit ordinary for a brunch. The atmosphere & staff was very friendly & pleasant but I felt a weird vibe from the manager (a lady) towards her own staff especially towards the young lady busgirl / waitress. We had an amazing time but I don't know if I'll come back when the managers are spending their times analyzing her staff in front of the customers
The experience overall was ok but not at the level of a true afternoon tea as in other places I've been to (le parloir, red cardinal, Queen E, Ritz etc). There should be a menu with a list of the teas & shirt description, the tea served was lukewarm, the choices were mediocre, when I asked to warm the tea, it was not hotter than before. The savoury & sweets were good but clearly the spotlight of the experience was not the tea. They kept the light out as well in the lounge. It was fine in the afternoon but it got dark fast & we couldn't see well what we were eating... again, it didn't have the afternoon tea experience... they lit candles & it seemed more of a lounge. It's unfortunate but if all the tea places I've been in Montreal, this was my least favourite. Maybe the experience is better at the original building
A wonderful supper with friends in a sublime ambiance & a majestic view of Chateau Viger! Cartier Arms at Hyatt Centric Old Montreal is an ode to a bygone era while maintaining the simplicity of modern day dining. A must to try during this Festive Season 🎄🎄🎄
We came for lunch, we were 9, our table wasn't ready, had to move tables around, why were you not prepared? - service was good, food was slow to get to us.
Fantastic service, even spotted the owner James helping out the bar staff-great vibes!!
I had an amazing birthday party!! Thank you for making it possible & the cake!! The staff was really nice & attentive. The place is lovely & cozy, everyone had a great time, it was very convivial. Everything was perfect & flowing. Many thanks!!
There was a mouse & the staff didn't seem interested that a mouse was running around our feet
The food was amazing! Would definitely come back again
the food was really good, the view was beautiful & the music was the best you could ever wish for ! plus the staff was so sweet. however there's no specials for a birthday which was a little sad! overall , i'm definitely going back there!
I liked the cheese plate & drinks. However, the steak was not well cooked. It lacked basic seasoning & basting.
Overall excellent; seafood was excellent (oysters, halibut) but dessers were just good. Great service.
Food was excellent ,good price & the staff was extremely friendly & quick.100% will go again
