The Pub Cartier Arms includes a 130 seat restaurant, 30 person terrace, 20 person private dining room and 4500 square feet of banquets and events spaces. As well as, a 14th floor, rooftop restaurant with 360 degree views of Old Montreal, the St-Lawrence seaway, the mountain and downtown Montreal.

Coucou je tenais à partager mon expérience d'hier à l'occasion de mon anniversaire,je tiens à remercier le chef cuisiner & le serveur car ils ont fait ma soirée accompagnée d'un service très chaleureux, respectueux & attentif, ils m'ont offert un menu à un prix imbattable composé de deux entrées au choix & deux plat principal, la cerise sur le gâteau ils nous ont offert 2 bouteilles de vins mousseux, la nourriture était très bonne J'ai apportez mon gâteau comme dessert & il nous ont offert de la crème anglaise par dessus. We have the breakfast buffet during our stay at the hotel. They had a good selection of items, cold mostly with some hot items. The hot items were awful - wet lukewarm scrambled eggs, cold soggy potatoes etc. The continental side had some better things - like mini croissants & bread to toast. The Greek yogurt was hard & tasted like cream cheese. The price was insane - $25 each. We were both ill after. Service was friendly & they were very attentive to the point that if I put my napkin down they would instantly be there to replace it!
Mon passage dans ce restaurant m'a laissé une impression contrastée. Le personnel était adorable, souriant & très attentionné, ce qui a permis de rendre l'expérience plus agréable. Cependant, pour un restaurant situé dans un hôtel Hyatt, je m'attendais à un niveau bien plus élevé en cuisine.
Voyageant beaucoup, j'ai l'habitude de fréquenter des restaurants d'excellente qualité, surtout dans des hôtels de cette catégorie. Ici, j'ai été déçue par plusieurs aspects, notamment par la salade César, qui m'a été servie dans un bol..🫤 une présentation peu soignée & franchement surprenante pour un plat censé être généreux. Les croûtons étaient beaucoup trop durs, & la sauce manquait de saveur, ce qui rendait l'ensemble décevant.
Mais le plus gros point faible a été le petit-déjeuner. Je n'ai pas du tout aimé. Les ingrédients manquaient clairement de fraîcheur, & le choix des fruits était très discutable. En tant que Française, j'ai été surprise de voir de la pastèque (melon d'eau pour les Québécois) en plein hiver au Québec. Ce n'a aucun sens ! Il serait bien plus logique de proposer des fruits de saison, plus frais & savoureux, plutôt que des produits importés qui ne sont ni de bonne qualité ni adaptés à la période de l'année.
C'est vraiment dommage, car le cadre est agréable & le service irréprochable. Mais en cuisine, surtout pour un restaurant d'un hôtel Hyatt, il faudrait une meilleure gestion de la qualité & de la saisonnalité des produits. Avec plus d'attention aux détails & à la fraîcheur des ingrédients, ce lieu pourrait vraiment se démarquer.
Ne pas prendre le tartare il est extrêmement fade. Ils ont aussi oublié ma salade verte mais heureusement ils ne me l'ont pas chargée. Le service était très lent.
Je suis allée samedi 07 Décembre pour ma fête & tout ce que je peux dire est que le service était au top!! On a eu 2 serveurs à notre disponibilité. Le lieu est si magnifique avec parking gratuit.
Food was ok. Hot buffet is of Comfort Inn quality. Cold buffet was a little better. Smoothies were good. Cappuccino were average. Limited menu until noon. Service was excellent & prices were low for a downtown hotel bistro.

Had the mac & cheese. Portion was quite small for the price. Opted to add mushrooms. I'm glad I did because they added much needed flavor to the dish. Sauce was very watery. Would not recommend. Staff was nice & atmosphere was welcoming.
I sat there for at least 15-20 minutes tonight without anyone taking a drink order or even acknowledging me. It seems I was invisible. I'm giving 3 stars for the food as I had room service last night & the breakfast buffet today & they were both pretty good.
The waiter must have been new- he forgot my wine, then I waited 25 min after my soup ( French onion one very burnt toast in it) was finished for my salad to arrive- the halloumi was too salty.

I stayed at the Hyatt Centric Montreal & this was the main restaurant in the Lobby of the hotel. If you order roll service at this hotel, the food will be coming from this restaurant. After a long day out, I decided to stop in here to grab some dinner before going up to my room for the rest of the night. I ordered the Chicken Club Sandwich & the Mac & Cheese. The sandwich was good, but the fries were very well done. Almost to the point that it was not enjoyable, I don't know if it's a Montreal thing, or it's specific to this restaurant, the fries seem to be very well done. The Mac & Cheese was quite good, it tasted freshly made & was topped with green onions which was a nice touch.
Friendly staff but close to a 40 minute wait for grill cheese & pasta for hungry kids when the restaurant is at 10% capacity means this is my last meal here.
