I had been to two highly rated places for breakfast & lunch & was let down in both. Finally, we came to Atwater Market & saw the pastries in here. We ordered eclairs & coffee. Finally, the server was so polite & caring. The quality of food was good & service was excellent. My day is finally back on track.Voir plus
Have enjoyed bread, pastries & cakes from here many times!Voir plus
Nice warm family spot in Marché atwater for having your coffee & nice pastries. For pastries you need to take your number from the machine first & wait in the line for your number. Croissants are delicious, also i like the fruit tarts with almond based. Filter coffee is always fresh. In December is even nicer with more variety of cakesVoir plus
Large bakery inside Marche Atwater, offering bread, French pastries, cakes, coffees, cookies , sandwiches. Everything looked so fresh & yummy. The tartlettes were one of the best I've had in a long time. Friendly staff. Lots of seating area.Voir plus
Love their pastries & desserts! The only minus that came to my mind is that sometimes, when I came, they already sold out my favorite desserts. So, come early to see the whole assortment😉Voir plus
This cafe has become our absolute favorite spot for coffee, croissants, pastries, & bread. Every time we visit, we are blown away by the quality of their freshly baked goods. Their almond croissant, in particular, is hands down one of the best I've ever had in town. The flakiness, the rich almond filling, & the perfect balance of sweetness make it a true standout. Beyond the almond croissant, they offer an impressive variety of baked goods, all made with the same care & attention to detail. From the rich, buttery pastries to the perfectly brewed coffee, everything here is top-notch. If you find yourself in town, do yourself a favor & stop by this cafe. It's a delightful experience that you won't want to miss!Voir plus
Delicious pastries, so much to choose from. Service was scattered, & very limited seating to sit & enjoy.Voir plus
Excellent variety of very good breads & pastries here.Voir plus
As a Texan visiting Montreal, awesome bakery! Fantastic bread, pastries, croissants & pies. Pecan pie was delicious!Voir plus
Fabulous sour dough breads. Wonderful pastries. Beautiful desserts. They make this wonderful dark chocolate bread so yummy.Voir plus
I do not purchase pastries or breads from here often as I try my best to eat natural ,organic, & / or biodynamic foods. However, sometimes I need a quick birthday cake or cup of coffee so this place still provides a very clean set up of pastries, ect, which are beautiful & have the traditional flavor profiles & textures one would expect. A plus is the staff are super professional & friendly even though sometimes they are slammed with customers putting in their orders.Voir plus
We had a raspberry eclair, lemon tart & double chocolate cookie. The pastries were all incredible, especially the chocolate cookie. My only complaint is that there were 3 of us ordering 2 pastries to share (cookie was to-go) & only 1 fork provided & then we had to interrupt the super busy line for more utensils. Just put them out.Voir plus
Excellent Bakery Goods. Cakes are delicious. Tarts & pastries are delicious also. The bread selection is great 👍🏻 Service was slow but it is usually good.Voir plus
Nothing fancy to eat in but excellent for pastries take out. Big rollout so it's always fresh.Voir plus
Great selection of pastries, croissants, baguettes, sandwiches & cakes to take out or experience one of the many spots to sit & enjoy with a coffee looking out towards the canal. An ideal location in the oldest Art Deco building in Montreal you will feel the history by browsing through the many shops afterwards.Voir plus
Premiere Moisson is a delightful bakery that truly captures the essence of artisanal baking. Each visit is a sensory delight, with the aroma of freshly baked bread & pastries filling the air. Their croissants are buttery & flaky, a perfect testament to their commitment to quality & tradition. What sets them apart is their use of fresh, local ingredients, which you can taste in every bite. From the delicate pastries to the robust, crusty loaves, everything is baked to perfection. It's more than just a bakery; it's a culinary experience that brings a piece of French baking artistry right to your table. For anyone with a love for baked goods, Premiere Moisson is an absolute must-visit!Voir plus
I live close to Atwater market & I visit this branch of Premier Moisson at least 3 times a week. While I love their pastries, bread, Quiche, you name it, I was very disappointed in the fact that one of their staff members didn't understand the concept of hygiene or why she wore gloves for that matter. I happened to witness her go through an entire jar of coins (tips) to give the customer ahead of me, his exact change. She literally touched at least 15-20 coins, having flipped over the entire jar & then put all the coins back in. Naively, I assumed she would change her gloves after having touched that many coins, or have their courtesy to use tongs while touching the croissant I ordered. When she brought me the croissant, I had to say something, to which she responded if I had to do that every time, I would go through 100 pairs of gloves a day. I'm quite shocked honestly, that someone in the food industry doesn't understand basic hygiene. Don't see myself going back there, unless I'm buying something packaged & sealed.Voir plus
