I'm writing this review as a fellow business owner, & I truly felt this experience deserved recognition.
Today, after closing hours at CF Fairview Mall, my family & I were quite hungry & happened to pass by Poulet Rouge. I initially asked the cashier if they were still open, & he mentioned they were closed. However, another staff member working at the grill stepped in, kindly said they were still open, & asked the cashier to take our order.
What followed was one of the most thoughtful customer service experiences I've had. The employee personally prepared our bowls & went above & beyond to make sure everything was just right. My child loves cheese, so we ordered a bowl with only cheese. When we asked for corn on the side for our other child, he first gave a small portion but then immediately switched it to a larger serving without us asking. He even explained that since we had only chosen cheese as a topping, he would add extra scoops & asked if we needed more for our child.
He was incredibly attentive to detail. When he saw me adding extra jalapenos, he smiled & offered to include a piece of spicy chicken for me to try. He also recommended their avocado sauce with a hint of jalapeno, which turned out to be excellent.
Curious, I asked if he was the manager or owner, & he humbly replied that he was just an employee. That honestly impressed me even more.
As a business owner, I couldn't help but reflect what makes someone care this much? To go out of their way to engage with customers, notice small details, & genuinely enhance the experience, especially when no one is watching. It's rare. In most cases, employees do what's required, but this was something more. It felt like true ownership, & it's something every business hopes to have in their team.
I was genuinely impressed so much so that I even thought to myself I would love to have someone like him on my own team.
The food was fresh, the chicken was delicious, & the service was exceptional. I'll definitely be coming back.
Thank you again for the generous portion of corn & for introducing me to my new favourite volcano chicken with jalapeno avocado sauce.
This was my first visit to purchase from PR. I went to this location as a trial. As I waited in line, I was a little confused with the menu board. The man at the cash saw me as I waited & kindly said,'do you know how it works?'. I was so relieved that someone was there to help me. He took the time & explained to me how the menu works. The young man who filled the order was polite & even took the time & explained what the toppings. I enjoyed the entire bowl very much, especially when it came with good service. I will most certainly be back.

Best place ever to eat Poulet Rouge honestly the customer service at this location is top-tier all the employees are absolute sweethearts they're always smiling super friendly & they actually take the time to laugh & chat with me & my friend every time we go it feels like they genuinely care about making your experience great the food is always fresh & delicious you can really taste the quality their toppings are always super fresh perfectly prepared & they never skimp out the place is also really clean if you're a Poulet Rouge fan & haven't tried this location yet you have to bc ur missing in life you'll love the energy, the food, & the amazing people who work there 10/10 every single time
Tried the Poulet Rouge yesterday in the mall & was very happy with both customer service & the food. Their BBQ chicken rouge bowl is a standout. Made with tender grilled chicken, flavourful barbecue sauce, & fresh veggies, it's a delicious & satisfying choice. The staff were friendly & they assembled the bowl quickly with my choice of toppings. Recommend this spot if you visit the mall & need to grab a quick bite.

Definitely our favourite place to eat in Fairview! The quality & taste of the chicken at this location is unparalleled & so delicious! Great customizable options with a variety of sauces & toppings available. The service is always quick & efficient & the staff are so friendly. Great spot for a tasty meal with generous portions - highly recommend.

Definitely my favourite place to eat when I go to Fairview. Everything is so delicious ! The chicken is tender & super flavourful (my favourites are Hercules & Shisha), the rice is always fresh, & the toppings are super generous. Very filling, that's for sure !!! The staff is always great & the owner Richard is fantastic ! He always makes sure you have a great experience & truly cares about his clients. Definitely try this place, it's a hit !!! No wonder there's always a lineup, but don't worry it moves fast. It's sooo good, can't recommend this place enough👌🏼💯❤️
