Located in Old Montreal since 2005, Porto Mar is the ideal spot for romantic dinners, business meetings, casual encounters, birthdays and other special events. Our restaurant is located in a beautiful historic building with a unique old world charm.

Our menu offers a variety of traditional Portuguese dishes as well as fresh fish, seafood, steak and a choice of grilled specialties. We also have many gluten free options. Bon repas, belle ambiance bon service, la sauce piri-piri commerciale devrait être remplacée ou du moins mise dans une belle petite bouteille de verre & non dans son contenant du commerce, ça brise le charme du restaurant..

Charming historic setting for fabulous seafood. We had a quiet peaceful table by the window. We had a nice mixed salad, fresh baked cod & a great bottle of red Portuguese wine.
Our server was attentive, kind & helpful. We shall return!!

Our favorite spot in all of Montreal. Food is highest quality & very fresh! Our monk fish arrived just before we did!
Provençal preparation was exquisite & the vegetables & lyonnaise potatoes were a nice accompaniment
The owners are warm & friendly & dedicated to their craft.
The quiet ambiance is a nice reprieve from the noisy US resturants back home in San Diego! Thank you Tony & Passos. We shall return to Montreal next yea

A great place with friendly Portugese atmosphere. Very interesting interior design . Food was great : cod , sardines & chefs special fried shrimps . Service excellent. Didn't taste wines . Easy to book online

Excellent restaurant.
- Facile de réserver, réponse rapide par téléphone (moins de 24 heures après ma demande par internet)
- Très belle attention du patron pour nous asseoir dans un coin tranquille à notre arrivée pour plus de romantisme
- Service impeccable, attentionné & courtois
- Repas de première qualité & en concordance avec le prix (les escargots au porto + les sardines sont exquis en entrée / leur saumon spécialité maison est vraiment bon tel que promis / & oui, les desserts - framboises chaudes + crème glacée & la mousse au chocolat - sont vraiment très bons
