My wife & I had a lovely dinner at Portabella. We especially enjoyed the small tapas style portions which allowed us to share 6 different menu items without needing to roll ourselves to the car. While pricey, it was worth every dime. For those on the fence because they need to stretch their buck in this economy, don't skip it all together, instead I'd recommend saving it for a special birthday or anniversary so that you can enjoy the wonderful dishes the chef has put together.View more

Had one of my best culinary experiences in years! Had no idea what to choose, since everything on the menu looked so good. Ended up asking the chef to surprise me with their favourite dishes, & let me tell you... Everything single dish was more pleasantly satisfying than the previous one. Not only were the presentations outstanding, but the flavours were just out of this world. An experience I would recommend to everyone travelling through Hudson looking to try an unforgettable restaurant. The quality, the atmosphere & the prices, can't be matched. Had an amazing experience at Portabella! The food & concept were incredible, & our group of 7 was thoroughly impressed. Everything was so delicious we barely had time to snap pictures, & we still had plenty of leftovers. The desserts were also a highlight. Wow!!!! My husband & dined at Portabella recently ( right in our neighborhood) , & it was an exceptional experience. From the moment we stepped in , we were impressed! Devin & Alicia were incredibly welcoming & attentive, making us feel like valued guests from the moment we arrived. The food was outstanding-each dish was beautifully prepared & bursting with flavor ( The House Caesar Salad is Outstanding!) . It's clear that a lot of thought & care went into both the service & the menu. The enthusiasm & genuine desire to delivere a wonderful experience is palpable!! Fresh & Quality ingredients, portabella delivers value as an excellent dining experience with the perfect seasoning of service. Definitely worth the drive off island to Hudson, I would recommend calling ahead to reserve as is already a staple for many locals!View more
