We stopped by Souvlaki Authentique after a volleyball tournament nearby in the area.
We were blown away by the exceptional quality of the food. It's truly some of the best souvlaki we have ever eaten with tender meat, savory sauces & fresh vegetables in the salad. The portions in the platters were very generous so we were able to share some dishes among family members. I think our daughter said'wow' five times while she was savoring the food.
Service was very good, with frequent beverage refills, & the food came very quickly.
After finishing our meal, we were offered a dessert table, which really piqued our interest. The presentation was beautiful & we really enjoyed the traditional baklava, along with the baklava cheesecake, with a quality cup of coffee.
At the end of our visit, we were touched to receive a small present for Mother's Day, including a rose for my wife, & hand cream for my daughter.
We definitely plan on returning the next time we are in the area. Cannot recommend highly enough!

I absolutely love this place. One of the best restaurants I've been to - the food is always fresh, healthy, & the portions are generous. The service is amazing every single time. Whenever I travel from Ottawa to Montreal, I always make a stop here. Best part? There's a gas station nearby - so I fill up the gas for my car & the food here fills up the gas for me 😂 Ready to hit the road every time. Highly recommended!

Nous les avons contacté pour un événement, Paul a été a l'écoute de nos besoins. Nous a suggéré des menus tout a fait adaptés avec la clientèle d'athlètes qu'on avait. Service A1, qualité de la nourriture exceptionnelle, aucune inquiétude pour la quantité c'est plus que demandé. Frais, bons. Je le recommande à tous. Les athlètes ont adorés. Driving to Montreal from Ottawa & my daughter suggested we stop here for lunch. It is well worth the small detour, & you can gas up too, right next door. The looks inconspicuous from the outside. But inside decor is beautifully done, place is clean & comfortable. My daughter had chicken gyro pita & I had pork kebab pita. We shared small Greek potatoes. It was all amazing & could tell was fresh, not a reheat. Tzaziki sauce on point. First time here, will definitely be stopping in again on my OttMtl commutes to try other dishes.

First time trying takeout from Souvlaki Authentique. The people were friendly & the atmosphere looked great, but when I got home, I found the portions to be small. Tasty, but I was still hungry. I might return someday… until then… JC
Food is excellent & service is when Paul (the owner) is around, however it can be slow & not consistent when he is not there managing the staff, which is why I did not give a 5 star for service. One thing that lacks is the points program. If you have the app or registered on their website there is a points program which I remember when doing take out as I log into my account on the app or website, however I always forget when dining in. It would be nice if they asked if you are registered for points to apply to your dine-in meal as well at payment.
