Nice place , service was ok , food portion was a bit on the poor side , got a poutine with brisket , got 2 pieces of brisket ..... Marc was very good .
As a person of colour, please beware! Food was ok, not worth the price, but the worst part of the experience was my server Danielle, at first I should've known it would be bad with the way she had a judgy look on her face, but I wanted to give her benefit of the doubt, like maybe she was just in a bad mood 🤦?♀?. So I ordered the ribs & a soft drink, not only did it take over 15 mins before I got my drink but when she placed it on the table it literally slid because of the force & she didn't even look back to see if it had fallen, not only that but it was in a dirty cup, like i literally was try to wipe the side & it was becoming more smudgy, half full of ice & tasted watered down. Okay, I mean it was busy & sometimes things fall through the crack, but then I got my ribs, no napkins & the ribs are covered in this sauce that's super messy so half way through I had to wave another server to ask for napkins who told Danielle & when she did bring them said that the single napkin in the rolled cutlery should've been enough like even the guy on another table across from me was looking puzzled by what she said, even the waiter I had waved earlier noticed the situation & also got me some wet wipes (shout out to the blonde server, she's an all star!!!) while I was finishing up my meal I noticed she was pointing at me to this older white couple saying that she couldn't take their order yet because I was still eating & started scoffing & constantly looking at me annoyed whenever I looked up, 1. There were literally other tables that were available, although I think they belonged to the other servers , 2. I had only eaten for 20 minutes since the ribs with 2 sides is a massive meal 3. There were people who had been eating/ drinking waaaay longer than me after I asked the blonde all star how to order & she told Danielle , she at some point slams the receipt on the table without looking back at me which I still have my apprehensions about 😑 since it said said the coke (no refills) was $6 & it already added a tip but then when i payed i had to tip an additional amount??? Anyway overall it was a terrible experience & I hope others have a better experience than I did.
Staff were great.
The brisket sandwich was a little cold but the flavor was excellent.
The veggie burger was good but the portion was a bit small.
For 30 dollars each I expected more.
Beer was great!
Ate here on a layover. The food was fine, but the service was awful. After my meal, I paid my $82.00 bill with AMEX, & the charge immediately appeared in my account. A few minutes later, the server returned & claimed their system hadn't processed the payment & that I needed to pay again. I spoke with the manager, who insisted I had to repay, told me I wasn't allowed to leave until I did, & said my proof of payment'didn't matter.'
Unsurprisingly, the second charge also went through, leaving me to sort out the duplicate charge with American Express. Rather than acknowledging their own payment system issue, the manager was dismissive & treated me as though I was trying to avoid paying. She referred me to a website to resolve the dispute, but that went nowhere, leaving me with months of back-&-forth with American Express to recover my money.
Airport restaurants are expensive enough without being charged twice. I won't be returning.
