We had breakfast here on Monday April 7th, 6:30am.
Our waiter George gets 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟, food 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟.
To the waitress who had no good morning for us, & threw 5 menu's on our table for 3 of us. Zero stars, I hope your day got better. But I have my doubts. LoL
Hussam was fantastic. He demonstrated a great work ethic, was friendly, efficient, & apologetic when things didn't go to plan with his customers - which was beyond his control. Give some love to Hussam for being a great worker.
We had the Cajun rub wings, which were good, & the BBQ drippings mac & cheese, which was light on the cheese. Overall, a decent spot to stop when detained in terminal A at Montreal airport. Thanks, Hussam.
Server was super slow acknowledging me after I was seated.
Cobb salad was over-powered with blue cheese, bacon tasted stale & the'charred' corn looked like it came straight from the can.
Food was mediocre but overpriced (+$20 for some eggs or a poutine), the server added a 15% tip on his own & was fussy when asked to change it.
Wenhad a veggie borger with fries & an iced tea. The drink was good but the food wasn't.
Great food, great service, terrible music. Loud & obnoxious.
I got the brisket, it was delicious & came out very quickly! The staff was very friendly
I had a burger angus there which it was great, fries was fresh & so good 😊
Had a couple hours to waste at the Montreal airport & decided to finally give this spot a try. The tables & spacing is good for the massive amount of space they have, & when I went there it wasn't that busy so did not have people close to my table. The server that attended to me was amazing! Made sure my beer was always full & my order was taken right away. They have a good selection of domestic & imported beers on tap. I personally love local craft beer which they had a couple of on tap. I ordered the smoked bacon chicken club with fries, & do they ever pile the fries. It came with ketchup & horseradish dip which was amazing with the crispy fries. The club was delicious with perfect amount of toppings & flavour. Price was typical for airport restaurant ($60 for food & 2 beers not including tip). Overall the Pork & Pickle restaurant was overdue for me to try & did not disappoint. Highly recommend!
I did not have a good experience there, as every time I had to wait for someone to take my order, or wait for many minutes to ask for anything else. The food is excellent, but the service lacks quality.
It's airport food, so not expecting great, but this place wasn't bad. Limited options in the airport so it's nice seeing a place offer a decent variety. I enjoyed my meal, just wished the portion would have reflected the price.
I had a great meal with a phenomenal server. Unfortunately I heard the manager saying very negative things to the servers in front of multiple customers. At one point he yelled at the server to go to HR if they had an issue with him. Another server asked him to treat & speak to them like humans & he said no because he doesn't have the patience. I feel bad for every single hard working member of staff here & I hope he understand this is a completely ineffective & irresponsible way to manage staff. Completely embarrassing for the reputation of this manager. He should be completely ashamed.
Overpriced for sure. $60 for 2 breakfasts. My mother's breakfast poutine was cold. The waiter brought us creamers from another table that had been sitting out for hours. I had a breakfast sandwich & he brought us peanut butter & jam. Not sure what you're supposed to use those for. Sub-par.
Airport food is always the same: mediocre, criminally overpriced, & poorly served. I'm in awe at how starkly Pork Pickle contrasts against this expectation. Great food (as in I would go here if there was one back home), quick service, large portions, & fair pricing. The only thing I'm left wishing is that they had one of these in every airport in the world, so I don't have to feel like I'm being held at gunpoint to overpay for garbage anymore. There isn't a lot of dignity in air travel anymore, these folks buck that trend hard.
Cute place. Food is okay. Drinks are overpriced. Overall less than a favorite. Portions okay. Flavor okay. Go for food, don't get drinks.
The wait staff made the experience! I had George as my waiter, he was wonderful. Had the "Eggs & Tots" tater tots were lovely, wish I could've eaten the whole plate. Generous portions!
