Review Summary

Overall, Pork & Pickle at the Montreal airport draws mixed reviews, with some travelers praising fast service, attentive staff, and standout dishes like spicy wings, pulled pork, and a remarkable Dirty Mac and Cheese, while others report rude or distracted service, incorrect orders, and high prices that feel typical for an airport. Food quality ranges from delicious and well seasoned brisket or smoky elements to disappointing portions, dry brisket, cold bites, or missing sides, with several mentions of meals arriving quickly but not always to expectations. The airport setting is a common theme: convenient for a layover and offering a lively beer and bar style ambiance, plus TV coverage that travelers enjoy, yet the price tag and occasional inconsistency temper the overall experience. Beverage service is noted as variable, from welcome refills and friendly bartenders to missing items like Coke Zero or decaf coffee, and several diners emphasize that service quality can swing with busyness. Despite the uneven notes, many guests consider it one of the better airport dining options, valuing quick, friendly service and the ability to grab a hearty meal before boarding.

Unless you want a beer with your breakfast, just go to Tim Hortons. Half the price for a better breakfast. I ordered a breakfast sandwich which had 1 fried egg in it with half of the sandwich covered with ingredients. At $20 for a sandwich & $6 per cup of coffee expect a little more. The service staff seemed nice.

This used to be a go to stop for food (especially meat, pulled pork, etc.) at Montreal Airport...& value/generous servings. Since my last visit, & like many places, they have fully adopted shrinkflation. Will find a more reasonable alternative. The two of us shared a very small pulled pork sandwich, a handful of sweet potato fries, 2 beers & 2 5oz glasses of wine & walked away $110 poorer, not including an 18% tip for our server who was very helpful.

This is one of the few airport restaurants I look forward to eating at. Marc & his colleagues are spectacular at what they do. They recommend good combinations of beer & food.

What I love is that when it comes to pay & they hand you the machine the tip options are 0%, 0%, 0% & Custom. Nothing says we value customer feedback on our performance than this! In a day where I have seen the tip button at 25% & go up this is a rarity! The team definitely makes sure you are attended to properly!

Looking forward to next time in YUL

We went to the Pork & Pickle restaurant located on the Canadian side of the airport in Montreal. This a great restaurant for an airport restaurant. I had the bahn mi pulled pork & my husband & daughter had the classic pulled pork, they were really good. The MADRÍ beer was exceptional. The servers were kind & welcoming. Me & my husband thought the pickles were also delicious. The atmosphere was very like a bar but was still kid-friendly. Overall a pretty awesome restaurant!

Had a couple hours to waste at the Montreal airport & decided to finally give this spot a try. The tables & spacing is good for the massive amount of space they have, & when I went there it wasn't that busy so did not have people close to my table. The server that attended to me was amazing! Made sure my beer was always full & my order was taken right away. They have a good selection of domestic & imported beers on tap. I personally love local craft beer which they had a couple of on tap. I ordered the smoked bacon chicken club with fries, & do they ever pile the fries. It came with ketchup & horseradish dip which was amazing with the crispy fries. The club was delicious with perfect amount of toppings & flavour. Price was typical for airport restaurant ($60 for food & 2 beers not including tip). Overall the Pork & Pickle restaurant was overdue for me to try & did not disappoint. Highly recommend!

I ordered a burger & fries. The burger was fine but not the greatest I have ever had, just OK. However, the fries were terrible. They were limp & had no seasoning. Avoid the fries. My wife had a salad & it also was flavorless. The local Montreal draft beer was good. Total bill was $73.43 Canadian (airport robbery). Next time I am in Montreal I will order something else or try another place. Service was good. Too bad the food was meh. Not recommended.

Food was mediocre at best. I don't mind paying $25 for a sandwich & fries if the sandwich is good. It was cold & just slapped together with zero presentation. Fries were cold too. The beer was nice though.

The brisket was quite nice & their IPA was good. Unfortunately the server was terrible. Among other things, she was very abrupt, I had to ask for mayo twice & my beer sat on the counter for 5-10 minutes before I finally asked another server to bring it over. That server made it quite clear that my own server was out of line. I had the feeling that I’d done something wrong. French fries were excellent though.
