The'salad' was a thin layer of lettuce on a plate with a few diced tomatoes & a sprinkle of cheese. . The beef brisket on a pretzel bun was poorly made. One half with a thick chunk of meat the other side with a thin layer. The side pickle was not much bigger than a gherkin. Don't be swayed by the fun name . Two stars for food because the beef brisket tasted ok.
I love that there is a decent restaurant in the airport for when you want a proper dining experience & have a filling meal.
I ordered the beef brisket with fries & potato salad & it was good! 4/5 stars for food because I was expecting for beef brisket to be juicy soft but only 1 side of each brisket is soft & the rest is dry. I saw a review with similar experience so I think thats how they make the brisket - I hope they change it tho & that would be perfect.
For an airport restaurant it's better than most. I had the brisket w coleslaw & salad. Half the brisket was dry but the other half was amazing.
Server was super slow acknowledging me after I was seated.
Cobb salad was over-powered with blue cheese, bacon tasted stale & the'charred' corn looked like it came straight from the can.
The service was decent. Beside the waitress seating us that seemed a bit uninterested, the waiter serving us was wearing a smile & he was quite polite too. The food itself was tasty. I really liked the smokey flavour of the meat, it paired so well with their BBQ sauce. The meat was also falling right off the bone which was great & made eating their meal a lot less messy. You also get to pick 2 sides with the main course which ended being a salad & a coleslaw for me & I was a bit disappointed in those because it tasted a bit bitter. The place is pretty big & there's a great amount of space in between the table so it makes the dining experience less cramped & more comfortable. I did however not really enjoy the high chairs & tables because it doesn't feel quite comfortable eating in them. Finally, I do find the price a bit expensive. Most meals are about 28-30$, the chicken & sausage I had was around 29$ before tax & tips. The portion is pretty big though so it does make up for the price somewhat.
They accommodated our party of 8 & my gluten allergy. The food was amazing. Best salmon salad I have ever had. The server Hassan was able to handle all of our unique orders & get the food & quick amazing service. Thank you !!! We needed an experience like this after our 8 hour flight home
I ordered a burger & fries. The burger was fine but not the greatest I have ever had, just OK. However, the fries were terrible. They were limp & had no seasoning. Avoid the fries. My wife had a salad & it also was flavorless. The local Montreal draft beer was good. Total bill was $73.43 Canadian (airport robbery). Next time I am in Montreal I will order something else or try another place. Service was good. Too bad the food was meh. Not recommended.
