Hands down the worst brisket I've ever had. I'm assuming they didn't get the internal temp anywhere near 203 f (95 c), probably topped it out at 170 f (77 c) at most & did a faster cook. 1/3 of the brisket pieces I was basically fat & there was no visible smoke ring at all. My fault for ordering brisket at an airport, but it sounded when I read it on the menu. On the plus side, the beans & slaw were amazing & the service was pretty good!View more

Ribs were super dry, brisket was ok nothing to justify a 30$ + a plate.
Tomatoe sauce on the ribs & brisket? Why? Also you don't need to introduce yourself everytime you come to the table...View more

For an airport restaurant it's better than most. I had the brisket w coleslaw & salad. Half the brisket was dry but the other half was amazing.View more

The smoked brisket was good, a tiny bit on the salty side, but for airport food & portion it was decent. The host/manager was really nice; however the server was rude.
I had come to eat with a friend who already had a takeout container of food & before we were seated, I double checked with the host that it was okay for my friend to sit & eat with me in the restaurant. He said it was okay because I would be ordering. The server came up to kick us out when she saw my friend eating when I explained how the host had said it was fine for us to have outside food as i would be ordering, she took my order. Things took a turn when she was putting down my food & especially when she was taking away my plate. She snatched it away & didn't ask if I wanted anything else or if I was ready for the bill. She came back with the bill immediately which was fine as I was ready to leave but it was unreasonably rude. I could tell she did not like us because she treated the couple that was seated next to us super nicely, wished them to have a good flight etc. maybe it's because we looked younger or maybe it's because we aren't Caucasian 🤷🏻?♀?

Was pretty excited after seeing the menu out front. I got the Smoked Brisket sandwich, as a BBQ fan I couldn't say no to a brisket sandwich. Unfortunately what showed up was a hot bun with cold brisket & only one small & cold piece of meat in this massive bun. I asked the waiter if the meat was supposed to be warm to which he replied, warm but not hot. I was given a new sandwich after about 10 minutes, this one had less meat somehow, though it was warm, it was dry & rather flavourless. Maybe the brisket was just bad the day I went, but I won't be going again. The saving grace was honestly the fries, they were generous with the portions. The service was okay, once I had the issue & asked for a new sandwich the waiter ignored us for the rest of our meal.View more

Usually I enjoy this restaurant. Food tastes average. The pierogi poutine is good. The beef brisket poutine is not that good. Today I was limited for time. I requested if my order can be placed as a fast order & I can sit & eat. However, they said they can put it in as fast order for takeout only. This would mean I was not allowed to sit & eat their takeout food in the restaurant. The restaurant was not busy either which left me confused.View more

Made the poor choice of eating here while waiting to catch a flight back to YVR. Brisket sandwich was terrible Pulled pork was edible at best . I know they have a captive audience, being at the airport but seriously 5 bucks for a soft drink Should've listened to my inner voiceView more

Went here for breakfast at 9am, had the benny beef brisket; I enjoyed the food & the coffee was decent. Great service; I didn't get ignored, & the workers seem to be genuinely happy.View more

The brisket was quite nice & their IPA was good. Unfortunately the server was terrible. Among other things, she was very abrupt, I had to ask for mayo twice & my beer sat on the counter for 5-10 minutes before I finally asked another server to bring it over. That server made it quite clear that my own server was out of line. I had the feeling that I’d done something wrong. French fries were excellent though.View more
