Review Summary

Reviews for Pork & Pickle are highly polarized, reflecting a quintessential airport dining experience where quality and service can vary significantly depending on the day. Many travelers praise the restaurant as a convenient and welcoming spot during layovers, highlighting the delicious smoked meats, flavorful poutine, and energetic, friendly staff who help pass the time. Conversely, other patrons express frustration regarding high prices, inconsistent food temperatures, and instances of dry or tough brisket. Service experiences also fluctuate, with some guests enjoying attentive and professional care while others report rude interactions, slow response times, and unpleasant confrontations regarding tipping practices. Ultimately, while it is frequently recommended as a reliable choice for a pre flight meal, consistency in both culinary preparation and customer service remains a point of contention for many visitors.

Banh mih was bizarre. Too many roasted vegetables being mushy which overwhelmed the small amount of crunchy picked veg. I'd definitely recommend the chef pare down the sandwich to focus on making a great banh mih with their good pulled pork.

We wanted to eat here but our son had already bought a sandwich elsewhere & they would not allow us in because of that. So they rather lose revenue from 2 adults?? What business is that? Well, we had great food elsewhere!

I paid $30 for a cold grilled cheese & pork sandwich with a side of luke warm beans. Never again. How hard is it to make a grilled cheese to order?

Unless you want a beer with your breakfast, just go to Tim Hortons. Half the price for a better breakfast. I ordered a breakfast sandwich which had 1 fried egg in it with half of the sandwich covered with ingredients. At $20 for a sandwich & $6 per cup of coffee expect a little more. The service staff seemed nice.

This used to be a go to stop for food (especially meat, pulled pork, etc.) at Montreal Airport...& value/generous servings. Since my last visit, & like many places, they have fully adopted shrinkflation. Will find a more reasonable alternative. The two of us shared a very small pulled pork sandwich, a handful of sweet potato fries, 2 beers & 2 5oz glasses of wine & walked away $110 poorer, not including an 18% tip for our server who was very helpful.

Overpriced for sure. $60 for 2 breakfasts. My mother's breakfast poutine was cold. The waiter brought us creamers from another table that had been sitting out for hours. I had a breakfast sandwich & he brought us peanut butter & jam. Not sure what you're supposed to use those for. Sub-par.

The staff were quite cold. The person who sat us hardly said anything & didn't smile. She just told us to follow her. Then our waitress also didn't even say hi or smile at all. She just stood there waiting for us to tell her what we wanted to drink. My husband told her we had a sleeping baby just to try & make the air lighter & she replied with, "do you want me to not talk?". The food was ok. My sandwich didn't have any sauce (I don't remember if it was supposed to). My husband enjoyed his food though. The food was a bit pricey but that's somewhat expected with airport food.
