Food was mediocre but overpriced (+$20 for some eggs or a poutine), the server added a 15% tip on his own & was fussy when asked to change it.View more
Had a couple hours to waste at the Montreal airport & decided to finally give this spot a try. The tables & spacing is good for the massive amount of space they have, & when I went there it wasn't that busy so did not have people close to my table. The server that attended to me was amazing! Made sure my beer was always full & my order was taken right away. They have a good selection of domestic & imported beers on tap. I personally love local craft beer which they had a couple of on tap. I ordered the smoked bacon chicken club with fries, & do they ever pile the fries. It came with ketchup & horseradish dip which was amazing with the crispy fries. The club was delicious with perfect amount of toppings & flavour. Price was typical for airport restaurant ($60 for food & 2 beers not including tip). Overall the Pork & Pickle restaurant was overdue for me to try & did not disappoint. Highly recommend!View more
The service was decent. Beside the waitress seating us that seemed a bit uninterested, the waiter serving us was wearing a smile & he was quite polite too. The food itself was tasty. I really liked the smokey flavour of the meat, it paired so well with their BBQ sauce. The meat was also falling right off the bone which was great & made eating their meal a lot less messy. You also get to pick 2 sides with the main course which ended being a salad & a coleslaw for me & I was a bit disappointed in those because it tasted a bit bitter. The place is pretty big & there's a great amount of space in between the table so it makes the dining experience less cramped & more comfortable. I did however not really enjoy the high chairs & tables because it doesn't feel quite comfortable eating in them. Finally, I do find the price a bit expensive. Most meals are about 28-30$, the chicken & sausage I had was around 29$ before tax & tips. The portion is pretty big though so it does make up for the price somewhat.View more
Service was perfect. I ordered a smoke salmon salad & one half of the avocado was rotten, the crispy capers not fried . Table was not very clean, the plate was not super clean either & the menus sticky. Obligation to leave 18% tip. I would not go backView more
The food was alright, nothing special. It wasn't the worst I've had, but it certainly wasn't the best either. However, the service was terrible. The waiter, Jose, threw the receipt at me after seeing I didn't leave a tip. I had intended to leave a cash tip, but after his reaction, I decided it would be a waste to give it to him.View more
The barista decided to choose on the machine how much tip I should leave for him😡View more
Food was decent for an airport restaurant. Waiter was incredibly rude about a mistake on a tip. Only provided additional cash tip to prevent any further altercation between him & my partner.View more
Obviously expensive at the airport. Offered coffee or juice. Asked for coffee & water. Never brought the water. Ordered a waffle & it was burnt. Another restaurant that prompts tips of only 20% & up. Had to manually enter less.View more
Ordered mac n cheese for kids my 3yrs old & they put chilli powder in there. That's kid menu but not kid friendly. My pork n pickle is just alright, dried because sit out too long, probably take them 5mins to microwave n serve. Fries is good.
Pick up weird vibes from the server. She gave us eyes n acting like we r stranger. At the end after i paid she asked loudly where i am from? Phillipino? & she said "have a good day lah". Regret gave her tips.
