Review Summary

POMADATA Cuisine Afro Fusion & Lounge shows up in reviews as delivering authentic Nigerian and West African flavors that feel like home, with standout dishes such as Amala with ewedu and gbegiri and egusi with fufu. Portions are described as generous and the food is well presented, while the atmosphere is often called welcoming and the service attentive, with the restaurant also praised for its cleanliness and vibrant vibes. Some reviewers note that prices can be high for the market and that a service charge appears on the bill, yet many still consider it among the best Nigerian options in Montreal and appreciate the variety including vegan choices. Diners highlight accommodating staff, vegan-friendly options, and meals that taste memorable and comforting, though a few wish for more spice or larger portions for the price. Takeout and dine-in experiences are both valued by customers, with many saying the place feels like a homey, lively spot that can be one of the top choices for Afro cuisine in the area.

I'm from Toronto, & I've had African food there, several times. This is probably one of the best places in Montreal or between the two cities where you can eat African food.

The fufu is fresh & well-made. I got the soup with 2 pieces of protein & there was enough there for 2 balls of fufu. African food doesn't have to have immense portions for you to enjoy it, & I am still Very full.

Try this place out, they're open til 10 on Saturdays & the service was Super fast.

I loved eating here. Visited Montreal for a week & I literally ate here almost every day.

The food was tasty, good quantity & as I type this review, I am having brunch at their restaurant before heading to the airport.

People complain about the pricing but I think I understand that African food stuff are quite expensive here in Canada.

Overall it's a 10/10 for me!
