Pinnacle Wagyu presents an elevated dining experience built around the delicate artistry of wagyu beef. Meticulously selected cuts showcase an exquisite marbling that promises tenderness and depth with every bite. The kitchen emphasizes restraint, allowing the natural richness of the meat to lead each course while precise searing and temperature control deliver a complementary texture. Guests are guided through a refined atmosphere where attentive service and thoughtful pacing enhance, rather than overwhelm, the flavors. The menu focuses on elevated wagyu preparations and complementary accompaniments that elevate the dining moment without distraction. Pinnacle Wagyu invites curious palates to explore the nuanced balance of richness, subtleties, and restraint that define contemporary carnivorous cuisine.
Overall, Pinnacle Wagyu draws praise for its wagyu steaks, cheesesteaks and truffle fries, with beef described as juicy, tender and flavorful and the fries often noted for a strong truffle or parmesan kick; many reviews call the cheesesteak and animal style fries must-tries and the Old Montreal setting cozy and bustling, while the service is repeatedly praised as friendly and efficient. Some guests mention long lines, limited seating, no restrooms and occasional delays during busy times, and a few items or portions seem inconsistent or pricey for what is delivered. Still, the overall vibe is very positive and many say they would return to try more menu items.
Tried this spot for the first time today & it really delivered! The steak with truffle fries was one of the best I've had (even beating out some fancy steakhouses), & for 30$ total honestly I found it a pretty good value. I'll definitely be back someday!

My first experience was fairly average. The BBQ meat was good, but the baguette sandwiches, especially the porchetta, contained very little meat, which was a bit disappointing.
Got the cheesesteak & the Steak Frites when I went. Cheesesteak was sub par. Hard to eat (big chunks of steak), the flavour of the aioli & the flavour of the beef, cheese, & veggies clashed. I've had far better, far simpler & moderately cheaper cheesesteaks. Bread was fantastic. As for the steak frites, the beef was decent & the aioli was crazy good, but they only give you a stupidly small amount. I probably got 3-4 bites with the aioli.
My main issue overall was that the beef was chewy for both orders. I thought that was odd for a place called Pinnacle Wagyu.
Atmosphere & service was super duper.
Overall, I won't go back, but I wish them the best.
Me & a buddy had this place on our list for quite some time. But wow, SUPER disappointed. Both of us found it VERY hard to believe this is wagyu meat. Had the Philly cheesteak, & the meat was not tender..... at..... all. Chewy, & tasted like an overcooked bavette. Aioli sauce not as flavorful as hoped, & a pinch of salt would have helped. For the price, I agree with others, tourist trap. The lemonade was ok though. For an amazing sandwich at a third the price, go to Kahwa Cafe or Lori Doner.
Amazing!!! I had wagyu steak frites, in which was the perfect combination of meat, fries, truffle & Parmesan. There was a generous amount of truffle on the fries & I could find chunks of it. 100% worth! Just try it out! (Sorry, it was too good & I did not have the opportunity to take a picture 😅)
Vraiment pas bon avec un boeuf tellement difficile à mâcher que je l,ai laisser sans le consommer…éviter cet endroit,,,la,sandwich m,a coutée 25$…..vive McDo

unfortunately overhyped.
i was super excited to come try this place, but unfortunately paid 90+ for barely seasoned steak. there's very little seating place, a long waiting line & no washroom available. (i'd give 3 1/2 star overall)
i'd recommend the other dishes, you can get better steak fries in montreal.
This place is great! I've had the Cheesesteak & the Animal Style fries, & haven't been disappointed. Plus, the ambiance & vibe is right up my alley. Don't forget to order the house lemonade, it will hit the spot with your meal 😁
Steak frite & salade de chou..tres bon j aurais mis 5 etoiles si la salade de choux aurait été plus puncher..elle ne goutait rien..faudrait la vinaigrer,la dijonner ou la srirachaser car elle etait fade💪
