Reviews paint Pinnacle Wagyu as a top pick in Old Montreal for Wagyu sandwiches and fries, with standout items including the Pinnacle cheesesteak, the steak and fries, and animal style fries, all praised for juicy, well cooked meat and flavorful sauces, especially the truffle fries. The atmosphere is described as cozy and nostalgic with a friendly, attentive staff, and the location’s old port setting and occasional outdoor seating are highlighted, along with value and generosity of portions, though some diners feel the price is high or that fries or burgers can be inconsistent, with a few reports of undercooked fries, soggy buns, or limited restrooms, and occasional hours or service hiccups. Overall, Pinnacle Wagyu is seen as delivering delicious meat, tasty sauces, and a satisfying deli style experience that keeps people returning.

Finding a place like this in Old Montreal was truly a surprise. Honestly, everything was far beyond my expectations. The space is small but has a cozy atmosphere. The service was also quite fast. The prices are a bit high, but they're definitely worth it for the quality. Overall, I was very satisfied. I will definitely come back.
We finally got to try Pinnacle Wagyu & we loved every bite. The steak & truffle fries are simple yet very packed with flavour 🤌🏻🤌🏻
Will definitely go back to try more items on the menu ⭐?⭐?⭐?⭐?⭐?
I recently tried Pinnacle Wagyu & had a really great experience overall. I ordered the On the Road Wagyu & really enjoyed it.
It wasn't the most tender Wagyu I've had, but it was still incredibly flavorful & genuinely delicious, the taste definitely stood out. The truffle fries were also amazing & paired really well with the meal. Everything felt fresh & thoughtfully prepared.
There was a bit of a wait as the restaurant was quite busy, which is understandable given how popular it's been getting online. I can definitely empathize with the staff; they handled everything professionally despite the rush.
Overall, I was really impressed & would absolutely go back again soon !!
Bonjour,
That one star is for the worst service ever . I drove from laval after work & arrived at 8h50 .
The girl at the counter told me no more orders for tonight . I told her i drove for 50 min just to taste your food .
Honestly i wouldnt come back to such a lousy service for free even
After their reply , i told my self that i should try it , i went back & waited 35 min for my order as their was only one guy on the grills .
To be honest , the sandwish was normal , nothing fancy about it , missing salt , missing flavors , the chees in it had no flavor , the provolone flavor should be bursting .
The meat was tender but no flavor .
Its a 5/10 . But wouldnt come back & wait for it .

I enjoyed the taste of their steak, especially the fries. The steak was tender, but they didn't ask about your preferred level of doneness. While the overall food quality was good, we were disappointed with the portion size & price.
Another thing to consider is that they don't serve you, & they use disposable plates. This might affect your decision on whether to tip.
Finally, the utensils weren't suitable for eating the steak or even the fries. The fork & knife were useless for either.
Went on a friday night & the line up was very long - but for good reason! The food was absolutely delicious & service was fast once you placed your order. A little difficult to find a seat when busy but we managed. Delish!

J'ai pris le supersmash. J'aurais du prendre deux viandes c'était très mince. Goûteuse mais un peu salé. J'ai également pris les frites aux truffes très bien. J'y retournerai sur l'heure du dîner.
Please just try the Pinnacle Cheesesteak, thank you. (Wagyu steaks on fries is also good, but that damn sandwich is just amazing! Will come back to try other sandwiches...)
Good spot overall. The sandwich was a bit hit or miss - one half wasn't very tender, while the other was much better, so it might have just been inconsistent.
The burger was excellent & definitely a must-try. That alone makes it worth the visit.
It's located in the Old Port, so parking can be difficult, but overall it's still a place worth trying at least once.
