Pedestrianization of Jean-Talon Market
At Jean-Talon Market, the warm season comes alive with the return of its pedestrian-only zone, running from June 4th to October 11th, Thursday through Sunday, from 11am to 5pm. Throughout the summer, Les Survenants will animate the pedestrian area, transforming the surroundings of the market into a safer and more welcoming space for gathering, enjoying terraces, and discovering local products.
Thanks to financial support from the Rosemont-La Petite-Patrie borough, Jean-Talon Market will host a series of free weekend activities, including children's culinary workshops, introductions to fermentation, urban agriculture, and watercolor painting. It's a wonderful opportunity to learn, taste, and experience the market in a new way while celebrating local expertise, curiosity, and community spirit. Some activities require registration due to limited capacity; registration will open two weeks before each event.
Join us in kicking off the summer season at Jean-Talon Market with the 13th edition of The Great Day of Little Entrepreneurs on Saturday, June 6th, from 10am to 3pm. Come support around twenty young entrepreneurs as they showcase their projects, creativity, and entrepreneurial spirit.
