Globalement, Pimento's Cuisine des Caraibes reçoit de fortes éloges pour son poulet jerk et son poulet frit toujours savoureux, sa viande tendre et ses accompagnements colorés et satisfaisants, avec de grosses portions et une bonne valeur qui incite à revenir; la carte, variée avec du cabri, des fish cakes, des pâtés jamaïcains et même des oxtails lorsque disponibles, associée à une cuisine ouverte, un espace propre et un personnel accueillant, crée une ambiance chaleureuse; toutefois quelques commandes présentent des inconvénients tels que le coleslaw sans goût ou mal assaisonné, parfois du jerk sec, des fish cakes plus petits, et des accompagnements parfois peu épicés; le takeout domine, avec des emplacements à Laval et à DDO, et malgré certains jours avec des heures limitées ou l'absence de service sur place, beaucoup louent la constance, l'effort pour proposer des plats spéciaux comme le poisson rouge les vendredis, et le sentiment que ce lieu figure parmi les meilleures options de cuisine caribéenne à emporter dans la région, ce qui pousse à recommander d'essayer d'autres plats et à revenir.

I went there with my girlfriend a few days ago had a plate of fried chickens , a plate of jerk
Chicken & a jamaican patty with vert ting & rose ting the cashier was super nice

It's so exciting to finally have a new Caribbean spot in the city! You usually have to head further south or west in Montreal to find authentic Jamaican food, so it's really nice to see Pimento's Cuisine open a location in Laval.

I tried the fried chicken, jerk chicken, & BBQ jerk chicken. Everything was juicy, packed with flavour, & cooked perfectly. I'm partial about the rice (I'm Haitian 😅), but theirs was beautifully fragrant with coconut & thyme..really good! I tried festivals for the first time, love it! Sweet plantains & gravy sauce were okay. The cod fish fritters were crispy without being greasy, with just the right kick of spice🌶?🔥

The only thing I didn't really enjoy were the side salads (coleslaw & macaroni); I personally prefer them more savory, & these leaned on the sweeter side. But overall, everything was delicious & I'll definitely be ordering again!

Order two goat platters for me & my hubby. VERY GOOD. As a Jamaican I am completely satisfied.

Best jamaican take out in the city.
Very tender & flavourful fried bbq chicken & jerk chicken.

Wish they would put pictures of the plate sizes on the website. I took a small jerk chicken without knowing its actual size & i ended up wanted more

Wow!!! I came in with high expectations & the staff certainly delivered. Picked up a regular plate of fried chicken & a regular plate of jerk chicken. The taste of the island definitely shines through these dishes, the meat was juicy & we'll seasoned. The fixings really complement the protein, both the coleslaw & macaroni salad were bright & zesty. I also got myself two Jamaican patties, a must have when you go there, just the perfect amount of heat wrapped in the flakiest of crust, legit!!! The staff is welcoming & you can even have a peak at them in the back while ordering. This should become a Laval institution fairly quickly, go there & support!!!

It was my first time trying Jamaican cuisine & the food was absolutely immaculate ! I had the halal jerk chicken, & it was incredible , tender, flavorful, & seasoned to perfection. My husband & I drive 45 minutes from Montréal every time, & this was already my second visit, because it's truly worth it. The atmosphere is warm & welcoming, & the lady who served us is one of the kindest ! So patient, friendly, & attentive.We'll definitely keep coming back
