Les barbecues familiaux ont toujours été le point culminant de chaque été, cuisiner de la bonne nourriture et créer des souvenirs avec nos amis et notre famille sont les moments que nous recherchons avec enthousiasme ! Avec tout le plaisir, nous redoutions de dire au revoir à la fin de la soirée. Une fois la pandémie arrivée, nous n'avons plus pu profiter de la compagnie les uns des autres. Au lieu de nos réunions traditionnelles, nous envoyions de la nourriture et des colis de soins à nos proches pour leur faire savoir que tout irait bien. Après les excellents commentaires de notre famille, l'idée de Pimento's est née !
Dans l'ensemble, Pimento's Cuisine des Caraibes est perçue comme l'une des meilleures et des plus constantes adresses caribéennes en ville, avec des saveurs authentiques mêlées à une touche moderne, des portions généreuses et un bon rapport qualité-prix; les plats comme le jerk chicken, le curry goat, les fish cakes, les patties et les accompagnements tels que le riz et pois, les plantains et les festivals reviennent régulièrement en tête pour leur fraîcheur et leur goût marqué. De nombreux avis soulignent la cuisson du poulet, le niveau de saveur et la variété qui donne une impression de repas fait maison, et le caractère halal est fréquemment mis en avant. I ordered the BBQ jerk chicken on Uber Eats & it was amazing. It was delicious & the portion was extremely big.
I also mentioned that I'm pregnant & they were so kind - they even added an extra patty to my order, which was such a nice surprise. The food was already delicious on its own, but their generosity made the experience even better. This should be everyone's go to spot in west island😍
Yo, this spot is reaaaal badmon! 🔥 I had the jerk salmon & my girl got the ½ BBQ chicken / ½ jerk chicken, & everything was BUSSIN'. The salmon was soft & juicy, perfectly seasoned. The chicken? Tender, flavorful, smoky - exactly how it's supposed to be.
The rice & peas were soft, the coleslaw fresh & crispy, & the macaroni was bussin' for real. Even the dumplings hit the sweet spot - not too sweet, not too dry. Every single component of the plate was on point.
Customer service was A1 - friendly, fast, & full of good vibes. Pimentos really brings that authentic Jamaican flavor with Montreal flair. 10/10 - will definitely be back. 🇯🇲🔥
This place is exceptional. The BBQ salon is bursting with flavour as are all the sides. Best food in the West Island. I wish they were open more days but I'm happy that finally something out here is really good. It's been consistent with every order.

we ordered the curry goat jerk chicken & the BBQ chicken everything was delicious
the plantain was also delicious the festivals were fried just right

I ordered the small bbq jerk chicken plate & fish cakes.
Overall it was okay. The chicken was cooked nicely & fell right off the bone, but the jerk taste was lacking a bit & the bbq was on the sweeter side which I didn't love (I wonder if I should have ordered the regular jerk plate instead). The festivals were really festival-shaped dumplings but great texture & still appreciated. The gravy on the side would have been a nice touch but it didn't have a taste, so I would definitely suggest some jerk gravy instead to bring it all together!
The fish cakes were great. They didn't come with a sauce but I didn't mind.
It was a good portion size but I feel like the plate juuuust missed the mark for me. I will try the regular jerk one day to compare.

I went to eat there because my sister said the food was delicious. It was good except for the rice. The rice & peas had no flavours at all. I'm used to eat rice & peas but it was not it.. The bbq jerk chicken & the fried chicken was bomb. I also really liked the beef patty & the fried flour. I would recommend it except for the rice & peas.

I've been looking for a place with good food & my first time Ordering from here all I have to say is wow! Played it safe with the chicken got jerk & fry bbq .listen to me you won't want to share. All the way from Toronto & this place can come out there & set up shop. I'll definitely order again hoping to make it there 1 day. Forgot my gravy was the only thing. The chef deserves whatever they want.
Incredible food I'm still dreaming about the jerk bbq chicken, it's a must try. My only complaint is the macaroni salad, tastes like mustard & I hate mustard. Wish it was Mac & cheese instead, would slap so hard with the meat.
Wanted to go here for lunch for the longest time! It is a very small space & there is only seating for 2, so eating in the car or at home is ideal. I ordered the fried chicken with BBQ sauce. My friends got a half/half jerk chicken & oxtail & half/half curry goat & oxtail. My friends would rate their meals a 7.5. I liked my meal but it did take an extra 15 mins for my meal. There were very kind though & appreciated my patience. I absolutely loved my chicken & the festivals. The rice & mac salad were not my favourite though. PS. Don't waste money buying drinks at the restaurant, walk two doors down to the dep to get drinks!! Overall would rate this experience a 6.5/10!
Discovered & absolutely loved everything. We got to try: - Half & half plate, 1/2 Jerk Chicken, 1/2 BBQ chicken with rice & peas, macaroni salad, plantains, & festivals (delicious, deep fried slightly sweet bread). - Jerk Salmon & all the fixings - Oxtail & all the fixings - Spicy Beef Patties - Fish Cakes We loved the flavour explosions, the variety of foods, & the service!
