Every time I want to eat there, it's always closed… I had to switch to another Caribbean place.
The service here is nearly as good as the food. Authentic, family, traditional Caribbean recipes, amazing flavors, & a staff that cares. No extremely long weights for your food exceptional care for the order, pleasant service, & food. Serve with love. I'm just mad it took me so long to get here.
One of the best Caribbean food spots! The portions are big & tasty, & it feels a bit like home. A little pricey, but worth every penny.
Food is delicious & flavorful. My favorite caribbean food spot in montreal. (& it's halal!)
Food is decent for a Jamaican restaurant in Montreal. Don't really have too many complaints. The food comes with a nice assortment of sides in the combo. I did ask for curry goat gravy for the rice & they gave me some in a little cup. It was pretty laughable how little gravy they give you. It wasn't even equivalent to a regular spoonful you'd find at your typical Caribbean restaurant. The festivals were my favorite item, very delicious! But overall very good value for your money.
Best halal Caribbean restaurant in the city. Service was horrible.
Young Homie with the du-rag & braces need to fix his attitude.
One of the best & I really mean the best Caribbean food I've ever had!!!
Chicken was super juicy & every item on their menu was flavorful.
10/10 highly recommend!!
After doing much research we chanced upon a halal Caribbean restaurant & it did not disappoint.
Every single last item on the menu that we ordered was amazing. This restaurant does not provide dine in service, but tbh it doesnt matter. The food was to die for & we will definitely be returning.
The best Caribbean food in Montréal, The owners are very kind & most importantly, the food is incredible. Plus the fact that it's a family owned business makes this better, I recommend anyone to go there !
Just tried this place for the first time today & it was incredible. Caribbean food isn't easy to get right, but they nailed. Everything was fresh & well seasoned. I ordered the half fried chicken half jerk chicken plate, curry goat plate, & 12 fish cakes, all for $54.95 tax incl. It was a great price & very generous portions. & most importantly, they didn't say'we nuh have dat' like most Caribbean restaurants do lol. Will definitely be going back & recommend to anyone looking for some good Caribbean food.
Wow wow wow!! This place really impressed me! Explosion of island flavors this tiny gem is my new fav to go spot ! Great service & the food was Insanely good!!! I just left but already can't wait to go back! Just got back from the Caribbean few days ago & I have to say this was better ! The coleslaw was so so so good! Oh & they have SORRREL!
I recently visited one of the few halal Caribbean restaurants in Montreal, & I have to say, the food is absolutely AMAZING! From the perfectly seasoned jerk chicken to the flavorful rice & peas, every bite was a delight. Being one of the only halal Caribbean spots in the city makes it even more special for those of us looking for a place to enjoy this unique cuisine. That being said, I did run into a bit of an issue during my visit. Yesterday, I ordered five plates for my group, only to be told at the end that they had run out of food. While this was disappointing at first, the owner of the restaurant went above & beyond to make up for the situation. They generously compensated us & made sure we left feeling taken care of. It was clear they genuinely care about their customers, & their effort turned the whole experience around. Despite the hiccup, I highly recommend this place. The food is top-notch, & the customer service is exceptional. It's a must-try if you're in Montreal!
The best Caribbean restaurant in the West Island! Everytime I order the food is always good & fresh!! Great customer service!
Wow! We've been looking for some good Caribbean food on the WI & came across Pimento's today, so we decided to order in. Great presentation, authentic taste, & fresh produce. We will definitely be ordering again in the near future.
The food was good but expensive for the quantity I got. I usually eat my Haitian & other African or Caribbean for 2 or 3 days. I spent over $35 & it didn't last me for more than a day.
I have to take back whatever I said about this place a year ago. It was the opening week & I waited very long for my food & when I received it, it didn't taste authentic to me. I went back today & had an amazing experience, spoke to the owner & told him my concerns. He really does do his best to fix any & all bad experiences you may have encountered. Food is A1. Boom J's used to be my go to for Jamaican food, but since they have downgraded, I will now be exclusively going to Pimentos for all my Caribbean food needs.
One of my favourite Caribbean restaurants in Montreal, & i'm very picky. Good quantity & quality food. The jerk chicken is seasoned very well with the perfect amount of spice.
