Immerse yourself in the rich culinary traditions of Vietnam as we bring you a tantalizing blend of fresh ingredients, bold spices, and time-honored recipes passed down through generations.
Pho Ly Quoc Su draws mixed but largely positive feedback for its authentic Vietnamese Pho and lively, attractive setting. Reviewers repeatedly praise the broth as rich and flavorful and the portions as generous, with chicken pho, beef pho and vermicelli dishes earning praise for taste and authenticity. The interior is described as clean, bright, and cozy with a vibrant decor and a pleasant terrace, making it a popular spot for both locals and visitors. Service is noted as friendly and attentive in many visits, though several diners report occasions of slower service, water not being refilled, or missteps during meals. Some guests mention higher prices and occasional inconsistency compared with other pho places, while others feel the quality justifies the cost and location. A number of reviewers highlight halal options and careful preparation to accommodate dietary needs, and many appreciate the freshness of ingredients and the traditional flavors that recall Hanoi and other Vietnamese kitchens. A few reviews describe less favorable experiences, citing bland broth or clumpy noodles, but these are outweighed by praise for the overall experience and the variety of menu choices, including banh mi and other Vietnamese dishes.
I'll be honest - I'm very impressed, very impressed!! We stopped here on the way to the store, because Pho Bo, as we've gotten used to, is good everywhere in principle, but here, I realized that it can be amazing. The place is new, the interior is pleasing to the eye, very clean, very fast & very tasty, I give it 5 out of 5 with a clear conscience, & this restaurant is on my list of favorites, don't change, I beg you ❤️
Beautiful place ! You can feel the warm welcoming as the moment when you walked in . I'm very happy to find a Vietnamese restaurant closes to my work that I can eat "My mother's foods "!

Eu nunca tinha experimentado comida vietinamita e gostei muito.

To preface this review, I went at a non-busy time in a group of 2. We had many issues with the service & food: 1. Ordered a rare beef pho & a rare beef & well done beef pho. Received a well done beef pho & a rare beef & well done beef pho. 2. They served the pho lukewarm! The rare meat didn't cook in the slightest!!!!!!! After asking to reheat the pho, they returned it THE SAME TEMPERATURE. 3. I requested fresh chilis from the staff 3 times throughout the meal & never received any. 4. Very minimal sauce included. They give tiny portions of sriracha/hoisin so you have to keep asking. It would be way better to have the bottles at the table like other authentic Vietnamese establishments. 5. Personal opinion - the pho broth was too sweet, missing some acidity. 6. Don't sit anywhere near the door in cold weather, they leave the outer door open sometimes so when the inner door is opened you'll be frozen. On the bright side, they have friendly staff & a great atmosphere (upstairs is super cool too).
my pork rice paper roll was tiny compared to pictures on here. they also switched my order with prawns without telling me. they were nice enough about switching the incorrect order but they should just not serve the item if they dont have pork available. owner also stared at me the entire time i was getting my order switched. weird it wasn't available as well as i ordered pretty early in the day (3pm). my banh mi broth was too salty & oily as well. very average Vietnamese food.

I went to the place last week with my colleagues & had an excellent service from Mia. The hu chiu was delicious but we didn't like the chicken pho. I would certainly comeback to try other foods!
We just had their pho & it was really good the broth was clear but flavorful & the beef was tender the noodles were cooked well & the fresh herbs added a nice touch we also had their fresh spring rolls which were light & tasty we tried the mango smoothie (100% you must try) & you can actually taste the real mango it wasn't too sweet just refreshing overall a solid meal & we'd come back again
This is rant review. 1) to state a fact. Its painfully obvious we are a family of four people. 2) we've been waiting for almost an hour to get 1 bowl Why. 3) only after serving one bowl of pho he (the server) tells our order "we told him" was just for 1 person AFTER ONE HOUR FOR A FAMILY OF FOUR. Please be for real. 4) they miss to tell us some of our order are food they are out of. 5) FOR AN HOUR they are so slow to serve us they prioritized to serve other people who came after us! Even if you think its a meal for one, wouldn't you have gotten it earlier & speaking of slow, they serve one by one, no trolley, no nothing. 6) The manager & the employee was misunderstanding us. Please do better. Train your employees & understand proper accomodation. The only great thing was the interior design & the fact we got to eat in the end. Thank you.
Wonderful Vietnamese in the heart of Montreal serving authentic & considered Vietnamese food like rolls, Bamh Mi, Pho, & incredible Vietnamese ice coffee. Highly recommended, & the service is wonderful from a caring team. Reminds me of their sister shop front in Hanoi. Bravo!
