This place has the most mind-blowing vegan treats & desserts!!! 🙌👏👏 As someone who is dairy-free/vegan, it can be a little stressful trying to find places that offer vegan options when traveling, so finding this place was such an awesome surprise! HIGHLY recommended stopping by if you have the time!!

As you can see, the chef spends more time chasing customers out of his shop than doing business.
His focus is primarily on humiliating customers rather than providing a vegan cafe for Montrealers.
If he could focus on his baking skills or find a job that doesn't require him to interact with humans, the neighborhood would welcome a better bakery in its place.
Looking at his acerbic responses to many disappointed clients, it's no wonder there are never any customers inside, in a neighborhood where there are always lines in the bakeries-he has none. It looks like a vacant space.
On the day I passed by, there were samples on the counter. After trying a golden-colored financier, the lady behind the counter told me,'We do not have that cake today,' so they were giving samples of something that was not even available for purchase.
She said they only had the chocolate financier available. Just as I attempted to try that little, teeny, tiny sample, the chef set his beady eyes upon me & began loudly hissing with rage,'We only allow one sample!'
There are multiple reasons this is not a popular local cafe. To be so stingy as not to be able to part with a meager crumb of cake, & to go so far as to aggressively reprimand paying, adult customers over an insignificant sample that is sitting out collecting everybody's germs, says everything about this miserable establishment, where the samples are just for show.
I should have looked at the reviews-they are appalling. There is a disconnect when management laughs & condescends to the customers he is peddling to, for example, stating'You can't please everyone'. Indeed, you are trying to sell something, & pleasing them is part of owning a service industry business. As a business owner & a frequent bakery customer, having a brand is not about taking people's money; it is a two-way street.
If he were mature or wise, he would not spend so much time trying to'educate' the public, but rather educate himself, with some business courses, or just behavioral therapy. It would be fascinating for him to explain how a counter has a'customer side' & a'staff side.' As a designer, I myself have not heard this term before. Rather than deflecting from your own abuse by attacking paying clients & inventing stories of moms who stretch their arms over cash registers, try to accomplish more than paying rent, because this is not a legitimate business.
WOW!
Incredible new bakery with lovely service. I had been coming here for months & I am always surprised at the new desserts they have. They serve vegan & some gluten free but you wouldn't even know unless you ask!
It is a good experience not a crowded place to be
Everything is vegan so good for anyone to explore... but do ask them about gluten free options... I didn't.. but I think they should be carrying some.
Regarding the taste:
As you will be able to see in the picture that I ordered 2 items:
Chocolate:
It was good (7/10), it has a nice balance of sweetness & chocolate.. but I was not able to get any lunch from the walnut filling..
It melts in mount & give a god after taste of dark chocolate.
Lime: it was not the best they got..
I will not recommend it a the lime flavour at the top center overpowered the remaining experience.. you will taste a strong lime hit...
So overall..
Nice Ambiance ( 7/10)
Customer service (9/10)
Price: adequate.. as per the location & operation
Food experience: (6/10)
Will I go again?
Yes, as I want to try their croissant & other items...
Should be in your spot if you are exploring food in Montréal.

Excellent taste, presentation & clearly a lot of hard work goes into these masterpieces that I refuse to believe are vegan. I'm not sure how others expect these to be less than 10$ & find me a bakery that warms up croissants for you tp THAT guy... MERCI trop bon we'll be back for special events & dinners when we want to impress our guests :)
Style over substance. Overpriced & just okay tasting. We almost got carpal tunnel just to scoop through the dry hard crust on our 10$+ tax small pastry. Looking at the scratches on the plate, this is a common experience. Also asked to heat up a croissant & they said they couldn't... Canadian Tire has good oven toasters for less than the price of 4 of your pastries. Would not recommend. They are next door to La Beignerie who has tasty big vegan donuts for 4.50$ & Frenco Vrac that has fresh vegan pastries all day & some of the best coffees too all for less than this place. Always happy to see more vegan businesses but the math is not mathing. Quantity, quality or service wise.
This place has the best vegan pastries I have ever tried. Not o lot is the place spacious, clean the customer service is attentive. The quality of each product exceeds the value, you leave thinking wow I just had the best pastry of my life. But above all the attention they give to their clients is warm & generous. I highly recommend their cookies & cakes, their drinks are delicious too! If you have a chance to visit don't miss it.
Vegan bakery that moved to another larger luminous location on Saint-Denis street. I have to say I am surprised with some of the reviews regarding customer service. I never did an online order, but whenever I went staff & owner was nice. The new location is much bigger, & nice. I think there could be more tables, although it is never full when I go. Food-wise, the patries are beautiful looking, but in my opinion they look better than they taste. I am gluten-free, so I cannot judge all pastries, but I am not a fan of the cheezecake, I find it tasteless & i don't like the texture. The only good part is the crunchy layer at the bottom, I could eat just that! The chocolate tonka entremet is good, probably one of the best ones. The tiramisu is not for me. Lacks flavor. My boyfriend tried the tarts & said the yuzu tart was meh as the icing on top was tasteless, but the tart shell & yuzu part was good. He loved the strawberry tart & raved about the tart shell. The wownie (brownie) was just ok according to my boyfriend. The financier are good. The cookies look delish, but I couldn't say if they taste good as none of them are gluten-free. My last note is that it is very expensive. The refrigerated pastries are 10$ each, that's a lot. I get it, ingredients are expensive, rent, & so on, but it's hard to justify for the common person. I am all about supporting vegan businesses, & I wish them the best. For me though, I don't think I would go unless the menu changes & flavors are improved. I would say it is worth trying it for yourself.
The staff was super polite & respectful, they explained to me one & each flavor every time I went. The cookies were okey, I was expecting more flavor in the chocolate, but I got more sugary taste. The mini cakes were excelente. Hope to get back some day🤗❤? Thank u for going vegan!!!!
Beautiful presentation (& all vegan!) & luckily for my dad bod the tongue wasn't feeling it like the eye. Everything was decent but not irresistible: I took a few bites & shared the rest without wolfing anything down. Not bad, but nothing worth the fat & suga
