This bakery is a must-try. Delicious treats & exceptional customer service!!! I have used their on-line ordering option for two care packages I had delivered to my son who is attending McGill. They have top quality cakes & pastries & their staff is dedicated to making customers happy. Great place - will keep ordering from there.

The ordering step was not the easiest but I got the exact cake I wanted beautiful & delicious. Went with chocolate pistachio flavors & you can definitely tell they use real pistachios not the watered down artificial ones & that makes all the difference.
Next time I will go for chocolate caramel or pistachio caramel !!

I don't usually take the time to leave reviews, but this experience truly earned one.
I wanted to order a cake for my mother's birthday since I live abroad, & after hearing nothing but great things about Lawrence , I was excited to place an order. When I tried ordering online, I saw that delivery was only available starting the next day-but I needed it for today. I decided to reach out via email, hoping something could be arranged.
From that point on, I was genuinely impressed. The responses were quick, & incredibly friendly. Despite it being a one-time interaction over email, everything was handled with ease & professionalism. Communication was consistent, & they made it feel completely effortless.
The cake was delivered promptly to her at the agreed time & they delivered with a smile whilst conveying their own birthday wishes to her at the door. Overall the whole experience exceeded my expectations. It's rare to come across such attentive & accommodating service-especially from a distance.
the pistachio strawberry shortcake i ordered for a milestone birthday was so amazingly delicious - all my guests wanted to know where the cake had come from. also, it was visually stunning. am now recommending to everyone. don't sleep on this spot!

Each pastry is delicious & there is one for any taste - more or less sweet, fruity or chocolaty.

Hands down best patisserie in mtl in youre looking for custom stuff. I've gotten custom orders from them twice, once cupcakes & once a cake, & they've always done it the best way. They are extremely pleasant to work with, polite & nice. Extremely friendly. All other cake shops made excuses & couldn't give me what I wanted despite it being very straightforward, but they executed in the best way possible.
This was my first experience with Pâtisserie Lawrence V., & it was excellent from start to finish. The ordering process & follow-ups were seamless, & the team was incredibly accommodating.
The custom cake was outstanding; a vanilla sponge layered with raspberry tart jam & pistachio Chantilly, finished with a dark chocolate ganache.
It was perfectly balanced, not overly sweet, & absolutely delicious.
I find this place super underrated. It needs more recognition.
Everything was super delicious, beautifully presented.
They have so many choices of pastries, tarts, mousses, cakes & even some on display ready to buy for a last minute birthday or celebration.
I would definitely go back & try the other items I didn't have a chance to try yet.
The best bakery around! It's near impossible to walk past PLV & decide to go elsewhere. Countless hits on the menu, such as year-round classics like the best Pain aux Chocolate aux Amandes in the city (not exaggerating, you get more chocolate & almond than anywhere else), or new treats being thought up by the day, like the incredible Pistachio Raspberry tart (if you're reading this within the near future, try to get one of these ASAP). The owner & staff are very friendly to all & provide excellent service! Lawrence makes fantastic custom cakes for any occasion too. This is my favorite place in the neighbourhood to come visit! If you like sweet treats & having a smile on your face, PLV is the place!
Ordered a custom heart-shaped Paris Brest for an important family event on October 4th, 2025. The cake was beautiful & tasted amazing! Couldn't recommend them enough (along with the key lime pie, an all-time favorite)!
thank you lawrence V for being one of the only bakeries in all of montreal that was available on short notice to deliver a customized cake for my husband's birthday! they did a great job & were very detail oriented. the cake was gorgeous.
This place has SUCH good cakes - they're always fresh, light, & made with fresh ingredients every time. These details REALLY make a difference & you can taste it in every bite! I highly recommend the carrot cake & strawberry shortcake! Their Italian style paninis are also super underrated & their viennoiseries & croissants are to die for!! The croissants are the closest I've tasted to those from Paris in all of Montreal! Do yourself the favor & stop by - you won't be disappointed!

Was craving for caramel cake & finally found one & from this store. The flavor is soooo good, balanced sweet & salty🫶🏻. & the chiffon part is amazing!! It's so soft but not dry (it tastes like the chiffon cakes you buy at asian store but this is better on softness & flavour). Will see in the future if they also sell mocha flavor & order one (if the store is reading this, please add mocha cake in ur menu🙏🏻)
Ordered a cake for my sisters baby shower as a present for her & it's all everyone spoke about at the party! My favourite flavour is the lemon blueberry but we ordered the strawberry shortcake which was really good too! It's light & airy (we're not big fans of sweet American buttercream).
We couldn't have asked for a more perfect wedding cake for our daughter's & son-in-law's big day! Lawrence from Patisserie Lawrence V. went above & beyond - from the elegant design to the incredible taste, it was absolutely stunning.
Lawrence is a true master at his craft. He also created the entire sweet table, filled with the most decadent mini pastries that were as beautiful as they were delicious. We are still talking about it!
