Pâtisserie Harmonie is described as offering a broad mix of traditional pastries and Asian specialties, with many items noted as fresh, flavorful, and reasonably priced. The mango and nut mochi are frequently praised, as are the generously filled buns and a vegan mochi option made with coconut milk, while a few tasters find some mochi a bit bland and the red bean paste more like a purée. The self service format and the small space create a lively, sometimes hectic atmosphere, especially when busy, though the window seating is pleasant for watching passersby. Evening visits can see fewer choices, but what remains is generally fresh and delicious. Some reviewers mention positives like a long standing appeal and a sense of reliability, and others highlight standout items such as egg tarts and traditional Chinese bakery breads. Overall, the place is regarded as a go to for a wide range of pastries and desserts at approachable prices, with strong praise for freshness and variety.
You can never go wrong with a good ol' traditional Chinese bakery! This lovely little Chinatown spot features a wide selection of Chinese breads & pastries, all displayed in little self-serve cases. I dropped by around 6 PM, so I was expecting the selection to be pretty sparse &/or stale, but I was quite impressed by (1) the quality & freshness of the remaining bread, (2) the number of options still available, & (3) the number of people who managed to cram into this tiny space. The evening seems to be prime Chinese bakery hour, & it looked like folks were stocking up on desserts for the night &/or breakfast for the next morning. & I can't blame them - the buns all looked absolutely gorgeous. I ended up grabbing a green tea & red bean bun. The bread was super soft & moist, & it was the most beautiful forest green colour. I can't say that I could really taste the green tea, so I imagine most of it was just in the appearance. There was a good amount of red bean filling, & I appreciated that it was subtly sweet...all-around, it was the perfect late afternoon / early afternoon snack after a long day of exploring Montreal.

Ambos estaban ok.
Went for a quick bite on Boxing day. Very little choices as items still being cooked. Selected a Coconut custard bun & a Sesame Ball. Review is on Sesame Ball. The pastry could have been cooked a minute or two longer as the filling was still slightly cold inside. I have had better elsewhere.
Amazing selection of baked goods. Everything is fresh, served still warm, fluffy & flavourful. I loved the sugar donut & the chocolate filled « bread » the most
Very good place to get food on the way! Each time I go to the Palais des congrès for conventions, I always get my lunch there!! Lot's of variety & everything I tried so far was good! My go to are Hot dog bun, curry beef bun, sweet crust bun & shallots & bacon buns. Never been disappointed once! It's also so cheap, I got a full meal (hot dog bun, curry beef, sweet crust bun & a drink) for less than 15$, but usually I only pick two pastries for around 7$, really worth it! Will continue to go there every time I'm in quartier chinois
