The place was perfect & the people working there were extra perfect & the service was amazing. Loved it! The cakes were perfect & fresh too.

We were buying cheese cakes for the last 10 years there & the they were always very tasty but this year something changed the taste is not the same, the structure is not good, we don't feel the cheese anymore it's all flower & very dry. It happened 3 Times already, so they need to go back to the old recipe. We have to change the store unfortunately!

*edit....the customer service is really bad here, it just gets worse. Some people are ok but most of the ladies behind the counter couldn't care less about their customers only see $$$ signs walking through the door. I was asking for some help for a big event & she didn't even care or give me a straight answer when I asked to purchase a piece of the cake I was inquiring about. Myself & my family have spent thousands of dollars here for most of our family events & milestones & everyday items. It's so disappointing to see this place going downhill like this. I left the bakery empty handed & frustrated. I've overlooked the food poisoning I've got from here & the fillers they put in their savory pastries but enough is enough, there are so many other great bakeries to chose from, I suggest going elsewhere for the same baked goods with better value & customer service & appreciation. *this is more recent...I have been there several more times now & they've been really nice. Everything was tasty. They charge high prices but that's ok if it's good not when the little cakes you bring to a guest's house are stale. How dare they! This has happened on more than one occasion unfortunately... Also, when a customer comes in the bakery they could at least acknowledge them or greet them. They completely ignore you if they are a little busy. It's too bad because when they care & pay attention they have really tasty savory pastries, Greek baked goods & great cakes....I guess it has to be your lucky day.

Por el precio los pasteles deberían ser mucho mejores, el de vainilla es el único realmente bueno, en un lapso de dos semanas compré de Tiramisú, chocolate y vainilla.

Disappointed. Bought a sponge cake for 38 $ . To celebrated our daughter's birthday. . Cake was dry , dry ,dry . Never buy from there , the next day I went to Serano Pastry in laval . That's was very good & value for what I pay Price are more cheaper at Serano

les 2 dernières fois j'ai acheté du cheesecake & des gâteaux forêt noire. très déçue. La pâtissière peut-être changé, mais la qualité laisse à désirer. Le gâteau chez IGA que j'ai acheté hier pour Pâques était bien meilleur & le prix était 2 fois moins cher. Croyez-moi, j'aime beaucoup les sucreries & je sais de quoi je parle

Yet another fabulous fantastic pastry & coffee shop. To my intrigue I was asked "how strong would I like my coffee" which I replied with widened eyes 👀 "ooooohhhhh... how strong can ya make it" & without hesitation, she replied asking my how many espresso shots shall we add haha, fun!!! Needless To say, I was WIRED 😅😆

I always take a trip to Montreal from Ottawa, only to go shop at Afrodite!! I buy so much & share it with my family & friends. I LOVE THE PLACE!!! There is no better!!!!
