Fantastic food, amazing presentation, attentive & engaging staff, & an all around great vibe. The perfect place for our large group to have dined in Montreal. So happy we did!

Une délicieuse découverte ! Les plats sont raffinés & exquis. Félix, le serveur, nous a offert un service impeccable tout en nous faisant profiter de sa connaissance des vins . Je recommande vivement ce restaurant ! Ce fut une très belle expérience.
On y est allé déjà à trois reprises. Le menu change régulièrement. L'été est probablement la meilleure saison pour aller faire une visite chez Papito étant donné la fraîcheur des produits de saison.
Pas que les produits ne sont pas bons en hiver, simplement que les produits de légumes seront sans doute marinés.
Les viandes sont toujours bien cuisinées & la carte des vins est bien connus par nos serveurs. Leurs suggestions valent la peine d'être écoutées.
Je suggère d'y aller en grand nombre [4 ou +] pour une expérience plus élargie.

Duck & lamb chops with the gravy. It was plenty for 2 pax. 1 cocktail, 1 wine. Bill with tax without tips came up to CAD 130+

Excellent restaurant, parfait avant un spectacle. Les portions étaient généreuses, nous avons partagés les keftas & la brochette de poulet avec une salade de concombres & c'était amplement pour deux personnes. Le cocktail avec du jus de pamplemousse & pisco (Nobe?) était délicieux. L'été ils ont une superbe terrasse.
Le service était lent, on nous a expliqué que c'était pas habituel alors on nous a donné des shots gratuits pour la table mais ils étaient horribles… ils goûtaient le fond d'évier. Sinon la nourriture était excellente le problème était plutôt le système de partage parce qu'en partageant avec la table t'es pas sur d'en avoir pour ton argent, à moins que les personnes à la table soient respectueux c'est dur d'avoir les mêmes portions de nourriture. Le serveur nous a expliqué que pour des bonnes portions il faudrait mettre 50$ par personne & +. L'ambiance était très bruyante & on ne s'entendait pas parler c'était très chaotique. On avait eu un problème de réservation à cause d'un manque de communication entre le propriétaire & celui qui a réservé c'était un peu désordonné mais ils ont fini par nous faire une place.
Just finished up a quick bit here & was very impressed. Admittedly I only went in to try the duck, it was some of the best I've had. Perfectly cooked over charcoal with that super crispy skin that is so often lacking. I sat at the bar & the service was great, everyone that I spoke to was amazing. It is definitely a bit on the louder side so something to be aware of if you're not into that, but I loved how lively it was. Wine selection was excellent. All in all, can't wait to bring some friends here next time we're in town, would be great to share some meat platters. Merci Papito!
I ordered the lamb & duck. The food was good & tasty. The duck was juicy & the lamb was seared beautifully. It's good but it's just a little bit expensive for the portions.
Food & service were great, it was just too loud to be able to have a conversation without yelling.
Incredible food ! Fine Quebecois cuisine ! Definitely go try their legumes too !!
Great restaurant, if you're just two ask to be placed at the window, it's less noisy there!

Went here for mtl a table & it exceeded expectations. They modified their original menu for the event, so all the food was well tested & delicious. Service was quick & friendly. Lots of space & would be a good location for a group.
Considering wood is used we found the food quite ordinary. There is waaaay better chicken in this city. Service was mediocre. The appetizer had several things going on but nothing audible was explained, just dumped onto the table. At this price, that's not the service level we expect...in addition to cutting our initial server's shift I suspect to save a few dollars on labour, at our expense.
We loved our late diner at this restaurant! Meat lovers I'm talking to YOU, do yourself a favour, try it! It was finger liking good ! Great generous portion, great service, love the casual atmosphere! We will definitely be back here when we return to Montreal!
