Avis pour Osmo X Marusan
Les avis mentionnent souvent
sando(121) cafe(117) matcha(113) sandwich(85) drink(78) coffee(77) latte(74) vibe(73) curry(71) music(68) recommend(54) tamago(50)Très cool ! Mais accessible juste par des escaliers donc accès restreint pour poussette ou fauteuil roulant
Excellent place for meetings, my only caveat was that they give you cold cream for small americanos & then it's lukewarm. The sandwiches were yummy
Absolute favourite! Best place to study, chat with friends. Get the Osmo Fog & the chicken curry
Osmo is a must-try spot known for its flavorful & perfectly cooked sando & Japanese style curry. While grabbing a table during busy hours can be challenging, it's definitely worth the wait for the delicious food. Coffee & other bevs are great, too!
Great atmosphere. It's in a modernist sort of bunker with bare concrete & nice light. It's set up as a cafe populated mostly with students & with huge speakers & a DJ. Probably a great place for clubbing too. The food is perfectly acceptable but not great: steam table curries. Miso soup was very good.
The music is amazing, it has it's own unique feel, next time will try the food it looks good
Drinks - I've only had their matcha latte & it's good! No complaints! However!!! I thought I'd treat myself so I got a katsu curry for lunch. It looked great! Plated nicely but WOW was it bad. I couldn't finish the meal. The curry was tasty, but the katsu itself was the worst I've ever had. They didn't trim the silver skin off of the pork!! & if you've ever cooked pork you know to trim that stuff off before cooking. Silver skin doesn't break down when cooked & becomes tough & chewy because it's made up of elastin (versus collagen, which breaks down when cooked). It completely ruined the texture of the katsu. I forced myself to eat some of it (because I paid my hard earned money for it😭) before the texture of the meat made me feel sick. I let the staff know but unfortunately they weren't able to help & I would have to pay if I wanted something else. So I tried to make it work & took another bite of the katsu. It looked like lean meat so I thought I was in the clear, but the silver skin was hiding lmao! It was so chewy I had to spit that out too. It was as if I was chewing meat flavoured bubblegum. I've never experienced this when I've had katsu anywhere else. Truly such a disappointment. To make it worse, the rice was also mushy. How do you screw up rice if you're serving Japanese food? That was the icing on the cake. What a waste of food. All that is to say that I would not recommend the katsu curry.
