Overall, Onigiri Shop is described as a cozy, small spot with fresh ingredients and onigiri that are generously filled and made to order in front of customers, delivering quick, affordable meals that many say feel like a little taste of Japan. The rice is praised as fluffy and perfectly sticky, with standout fillings such as tuna mayo, salmon, beef tama, and a variety of veggie options, and the Fuji Mountain onigiri is frequently highlighted as especially tasty and satisfying, with portions that feel generous for the price. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, with fast service and staff noted for being helpful and kind, making it a good option for a quick lunch or snack. Some reviews mention lunchtime crowds and a wish for grab-and-go options or easier packaging, and a few note that the interior can feel cold when the door stays open in winter or when busy; a rare critique mentions bones in raw salmon. Overall, the consensus is that the onigiri are fresh, flavorful, and worth a visit, with many saying they would return to try more fillings.
Absolutely delicious onigiri, leagues ahead of cheaply made ones at grocery stores. & not even for that much more money either, definitely worth it if you're in the area. Service was rapid, courteous, & the onigiri came out incredible. I will definitely go again when I have the chance
My partner & I came for a quick late lunch & had a pleasant meal! Quick, affordable, & staffs are very sweet. Usually we don't leave reviews but the service was too great :)
This onigiri shop is really good, with perfectly sticky rice that holds together nicely. The tuna mayo is especially delicious & gives an instant taste of Japan. It gets very busy during lunchtime, so I'd recommend going a bit later if you want to avoid the wait. My only wish is that they offered some pre-made onigiri ready to grab & go, & used the classic Japanese onigiri wrappers. That would make it much easier to slip one into a pocket & head out, instead of using the flimsy plastic containers.

Yummy!
Very reasonable prices, filling, healthy meals. My first time having real onigiri. Tasty! Can tell a lot of love is put into the ingredients.
I have tried the vege mix, wakame, & vege mix + wakame! The third was my favourite but they're all good. Lots of vegan options too which is so nice (& so rare!!)
Service is quick. Staff is always kind & accommodating. I highly recommend this shop!
Only thing is it tends to be cold! Especially when the door gets stuck open. I recommend bringing a warm coat if you come in the winte
Great vibes, lovely place, polite staff & management team. During my visit there, I got the Unagi one & the Crispy Shrimp Mayo onigiri. Both were incredibly tasty & quite filling honestly.
Definitely worth the price! If you go there, make sure you bring a +1 because this is definitely something to be discovered & experienced with a friend (or a date)
I'm so glad I doubled back & decided to try this onigiri shop. I got the salmon luxe (filled with raw & cooked salmon & ikura) & the raw tuna for a second onigiri. They fill the onigiri with fresh & generous amounts of fish. So good, I had to help myself to a third.
The staff were also super kind & chill.
The little shop quickly filled within the time I was there (roughly 20-30 minutes) but the crowd does turn over quickly.
