Staffs always welcome you with a smile & service is great. I find that the onigiris have a good ratio of rice & stuffing (I've tried them all - not pictured, but my fave is the unagi, mayo chicken & Mount Fuji). The also have nice summer drinks (the dalgona matcha is refreshing). My kids always ask for onigiris from this location so they can bring it to school as their lunches. I finally tried the oniDON with salmon & tempura shrimp, & it was delicious. The sesame sauce that comes with the oniDon was nice & light. Would order again!
I came on Dec 31 & had terrible, terrible food poisoning the next day.
I ordered the spicy salmon & spicy tuna onigiris (raw) for takeout.
We ordered one of each type-classic, fusion, & the chef's special-because restraint is overrated when onigiri is involved.
The unagi was savory & delicious. The avocado-salmon fusion felt bright & modern. & then came the'Fuji Mountain' from the chef's specials: a glorious, beautifully assembled, cheese-crowned delight that looked as good as it tasted.
Be warned: these little triangles are deceptively filling. A single one can carry you through a lunch break, fuel a small bite on the go, or satisfy that late-night craving after a night out. Honestly, onigiri should replace pizza as the official reward for helping someone move-much easier to hold, far more dignified, & arguably more delicious.
Just when we thought we'd reached peak comfort, the mini ramen made its appearance.'Mini' in size only-but it hit the spot. We tried the spicy version (but there are other options, too). To complete the experience, we sipped on a refreshing matcha-yuzu drink, a perfect blend of earthy & citrus.
Whether you're hungry, hurried, or simply hunting for something satisfying, this is a place worth visiting-again & again.
Price is decent. The service is very friendly. But the shop has limited table, so it is better to for small group or take out. The onigiri (the rice balls) have many varieties. It also come with combo with drink, mini ramen (or salad) & a dessert ( yuzu cheese cake). The mini ramen is decent. Yuzu cheesecake is pretty good. For the rice balls, the rice is chewy & tasty, which is excellent. The filling (fried chicken, tuna, & salmon) are well seasoned. If the seaweed can be a bit more crispy, it is be excellent ( but it is still good). It is much better than the rice balls you bought from most Asian supermarket. I definitely will come back for more.
This is a good spot to eat if you want something small but filling at a reasonably priced. If you like sushi, you'll enjoy this. I tried the raw Salmon onigiri, & it was of good quality in my opinion. I also had a matcha-coco drink & liked it. I wish the place great success!
Very good experience & the food is delicious for a good price! I've been already 2 times there & the workers smile to you, explain how it works, don't disturb you, very clean very cosy, one onigiri is already enough to get you filled personally took the raw spicy salmon & loved it, the tempura were delicious also & tried the cheesecake that was very good, & the thing that you don't see often in those stores is that there's not a lot of people, so no much time to wait for food, no weird people staring at you or screaming etc.
