Deux Becs serves fresh, innovative donuts with a rotating menu and generous fillings, keeping things interesting; salted butter and ube fillings are standout favorites, with flavors like mango tajin, coconut, and Oreo appearing regularly, and donuts praised for a light, fluffy interior and a satisfying density of taste. Reviewers call it among the best donuts in Montreal or on the south shore, noting high quality, creativity, and freshness, while a few mention higher prices and occasional service inconsistencies as minor drawbacks.
3.50$ per donut. 40$ for 12.
Costly but an okay donut. They have a good interesting variety, so if you want options & unique donut tastes, definitely go! :)
They have interesting flavours. I got the Mango & tajin/ube donuts. They weren't as fluffy as I would like & the ube tastes more like whipped cream, but they weren't bad. They were 4.5$ each & the menu changes every week.
C'MON! These are GREAT donuts. Original & unique toppings & filling you will not find otherwhere else in Montreal (ex: ube, mango & tajin, etc) or great old skool topping & fillings (ex: buttermilk, litchi, Dad's cookie, etc). The ube filling is on point!!! Light & creamy at the same time. Fresh flavour & LOTS of filling. Generous.
Caution: some flavours are on rotation/seasonal so grab'em when you can!!
In my humble opinion, these leaves Bernie's behind in the dust. Gives Homer a run for its money. If you like Krispy Kream for its soft like a cloud texture then stick with KK because what makes these hallow of goodness deadly is their dense & crumbly fritter quality (the stiffed donuts have a different texture).
Sometimes, I wish that the flavours would be sharper & stronger. Still, one of my fav donuts nonetheless.
Best donuts in Montreal hands down. Highly recommend the Ube, Oreo & Apple Pie. The donuts are so fluffy & have a generous amount of fillings. Great service by the crew
