Overall, Café Kuya is described as a warm, cozy neighborhood spot with friendly staff, a lively yet comfortable vibe, and a menu that blends coffee culture with Filipino inspired sandwiches and pastries. Reviewers praise the matcha and ube options, pandan flavors, and standout smash burgers along with Lechon and Tocino sandwiches, crispy fries, and sweet treats; some note occasional slow service or a busy pace, and a few trips report inconsistent coffee or a cooler interior, but the overall experience remains memorable for the welcoming atmosphere, creative drinks, and a sense of local charm. The cafe is repeatedly celebrated as a community hub that hosts pop ups and supports local vendors, and many say the staff go above and beyond to make guests feel at home, contributing to a warm, home-away-from-home vibe.
In this economy?? Le meilleur que j'ai eu la chance de manger. Le latté ube est délicieux, je recommande à tout ceux qui croient en l'amour 💜
I love this cute little cafe! The service is impeccable, the vibes are nice. I usually go for the coffee, but don't sleep on their pastries! The pandan mamon & almond croissant are my favourite
A veggie patty on a breakfast sandwich? I think yessss. 10/10 recommend. Grab a cookie from Mon Biscuit next door & some empanadas at Anita's to go for a game night snack... You're in business & so are they. Ya know. Since you're supporting local.
Very disappointed. Came to this place when it first opened & the food & matcha/coffee were excellent. For the past few months, the experience & quality dropped more & more & more. My last straw was today when I ordered an Ube matcha that was 9,45$ & had to throw it because it was that bad.
Café Kuya is a hidden gem just off the island that makes me wish I lived in Brossard so I could go more often. Their lunch menu, lattes & service are top
Matcha iced latte with ube syrup. That's what was recommended to me by the very friendly barista & I wasn't disappointed! Can't wait to go back, lovely little place. Was very busy too!
