Café Kuya is always a go-to place for coffee dates with friends, a small date with the fiancé, etc.
The staff is so friendly & attentive, & the drinks & food are always so good! 😊
We love the syrups that we can add to our drinks (ube & pandan are both very yummy! 😋)
The buko pie was also very good!

We ordered a matcha latte with extra ube syrup & an hojicha latte, both were too drowned out by the milk :/
Service was good, but cafe is small for the amount of people there was, we almost didn't get a seat.View more

My absolute favourite cafe. This place is a community gem of the south shore & feels like the embodiment of a warm hug. The space is airy & cozy with lots of natural light & high ceilings: a perfect place to sit down & work or have a good coffee date. But what really sets this cafe apart is how incredible everyone who works here is. The staff are so thoughtful & kind. They always check in with their customers to see how they are & always go above & beyond.
The drinks & food here are equally delicious (try their ube syrup in a latte & breakfast sandwich if you want to get a taste of their specialties). They have a great assortment of Philippino inspired sandwiches, pies, & baked goods.
Additionally, they are always innovating & working with the local community bringing in pop ups & different Philippino foods to try, supporting other local businesses & uplifting others (keep an eye on their IG for pop ups & other community events).

Great coffee shop that's charming on the inside. Tired the breakfast sandwich & it was very good. Though I got it to go, it still took about 20 minutes to make. Ube latte was interesting & tasty. I would go back & try their other drinks.View more

Great little cafe hidden in the corner of the strip mall. The iced ube latte is especially good. It's small so sometimes there will be no place to sit as the tables are all occupied by students studying.View more

We googled to find the nearest highly- rated café near Hotel Brossard, & this was it. It was such a pleasant surprise to check out their menu & find Filipino foods & flavours. We only came for caffeine, so all we had were their iced coffees: ube & mocha flavours. It was well worth it though. The flavour was very rich & satisfying. Excellent service. Excellent iced coffees. This charming local café, open for three years now, is perfect for students & boasts an Instagram-worthy ambiance. Run by two Filipino friends, the café offers a delightful selection of beverages, including chai latte, matcha latte, & iced ube latte, each priced at $5 & incredibly tasty. We also tried their Lechon (pork belly with grilled pineapple) (9$) & chicken sandwiches ($10). While the sandwiches were delicious, I wished they were larger, especially the chicken sandwich, as the bread overpowered the other ingredients. On the bright side, free parking is available.View more

Small surprise to discover such a nice filipino coffee in that area. We went for breakfast & we were surprise that the food & cake, even if it is quite simple, are nicely prepared & done. Price is friendly, same as the ratio quality/quantity. The dessert is very good & not too sweet. We will definitely come back. A good suggestion : the ube matcha with coconut milk !!!View more

Very cute little cafe, service is friendly but mildly on the slower side. This place is quite popular so if you get there in the afternoon, many things (food-wise) on the menu is no longer available, so keep that in mind when planning to visit here!
I tried the breakfast sandwich & the pulled pork sandwich. It is quite good, but the price is meh (a bit high for what you actually get). The sandwiches are on the smaller side.
My friend raves about the ube latte here. She says it's the best. She regularly comes here. I'm not an ube fan, so I can only take her word for it.
Worth a try. This place really puts a lot of attention on building a community with their clients.View more
